Mafia III
Anyone playing this? I've got if for ps4. After about 5-6 hours it's pretty good. Apparently the game is repetitive as hell, with recycled missions the whole way thru. It's not on a GTA level to me, but I'm enjoying if. Graphics seem really poor to me, but ive never played GTA 5 on ps4 to compare. It's a pretty decent game, especially if it's not full price.

Re: Mafia III
It's definitely a cool game w/ a cool story, but yes, it gets repetitive. Playing it on the PC, and I've got it on the Xbox One as well...the graphics are obviously better on the PC. It definitely isn't on par w/ GTA5 from a technical standpoint, but the story is good, so it's worth a rental or a pickup when the price drops (30ish). Not a full priced game IMO.
Re: Mafia III
I enjoyed the hell out of it for the first 10 or so hours. But once you get all the underbosses and start having to repeat the same cycle of missions, yeah...it got too repetitive for me.
I had fun with the Assassin's Creed-style "whistle and get shanked" stealth stuff, and the shooter stuff was fun. Soundtrack might be the best ever in a game, and it's enjoyable, but in a "$20 on sale" sort of way and not full price, IMO.

I paid full price. I figure I'll take months to finish. I'll play til I'm bored then shelf it for a few months .
