Dragon's Dogma (PC)
This releases today and I guess it is the console game with all DLC but 4k graphics. I'm going to pick it up for $30 which is what it is going for on Steam. I seem to recall there being some sort of multiplayer element to this. Is anyone else getting it?

I got it, but it wasn't direct multiplayer. You can use other player's "pawns", which are basically followers. You earn in game cash when other people use your pawn, and it learns things and brings those tactics back to your game if players fight things with your pawn in other games.

It was a criminally under-appreciated game. It's sort of like taking the western RPG formula and squishing into a bizarre JRPG, complete with strange humor and art style.

One of my favorite games of all time!!! I don't finish many games.. but when I do it's a game like DD!

Re: Dragon's Dogma (PC)
Just though I would report back and say that even though I'm playing this game I couldn't recommend it to anyone.
The game just randomly has lag and it's not my machine as this game is really not cutting edge graphics wise. I play Witcher 3, MGS and other on top detail levels with no issue.
My non technical problem with this game is it doesn't give you enough information on how to play. Literally whole systems go unexplained. I can see why it did so well because I'm trudging through despite these issues but there are better games out there now than this.

Have had zero lag issues so that's pretty weird. It's one of my favorites of all time and the PC version is the best of them.

My game lags every time I play it and not where you think it would. It never lags in combat but if I'm standing around and move the camera it drops to a crawl for some reason.TCrouch wrote:Have had zero lag issues so that's pretty weird. Re: Dragon's Dogma (PC)
I've read several reviews and they make this game out to be a real b*tch. Like Bloodborne tough, only 3 times worse. Monsters that can kill you with 1 hit. Bloodborne is still kicking my ass.
Re: Dragon's Dogma (PC)
Not even close to Bloodborne. It's not really close to Dark Souls, even. If you don't go around mashing attack keys like a spaz, it's like half as difficult. It's like Dark Souls-lite.
