Opinions on 2 games; $70 in BB credit burning my money clip

Boys:

Best Buy is resuming its 30 percent trade-in bonus tomorrow, and I plan to trade Project Cars and Forza Horizon 2.

Project Cars is a mess for the Xbox One, and my boys have played the hell out of Horizon 2. Oddly, I never got into it nearly as much as Horizon on the 360. Maybe Horizon 2 felt too much the same to me. Maybe I fell hard for the glory of Forza 5. Maybe a bit of both.

With the bonus, I'll have around $70 of credit after trading these two titles. I'm looking at Metro: Redux and Far Cry 4 as cheap pickups. Any opinions on these games?

Yeah, I know I could find old threads for each of these games. But I'm feeling lazy on my last off weekend until late July, and I want the freshest opinions possible. Remember: I thought Project Cars was the Second Coming two weeks ago.

Here's what I'd do. Buy a one year Best Buy Gamer's Club for $30. Then use that to purchase the new Batman game, which has gotten excellent reviews for $48. All trade ins with the GC gets you an extra 20 percent trade in. New games are 20 percent off as well, as are pre-owned titles.

Haven't checked this out for myself, mate, but you might be able to download a sizeable chunk of Metro Redux action for free and give it a road test before making any decisions:

Thanks for that tip. Almost pulled the trigger on Gamers Club Unlocked but I got Far Cry 4 Limited Edition for $30 with the $35 credit I received for trading in Horizon 2. I kept Project Cars. Switching my Xbox to Power Saving mode helped smooth the framerate problems in that game.

I probably will get GCU sometime very soon. There are so many good games arriving this fall. I'll pay for GCU with savings in a month or two this fall.

Wasn't sure if I should comment on this since I played both on the PC but seeing some other responses I figure it couldn't hurt. I really like the Metro series but some find it to be a bit of a pain in the ass because you're always low on ammunition. I don't think the later games lived up to the hype from the original but I have no idea how well they were done on the console.

Far Cry 4 is great for the open world aspect of the game but the plot is beyond silly in my opinion. Personally I don't think either game scream go out and buy me. I wouldn't push you to batman either as I've played those game and like you didn't care for them much. I'd say plop down that money on a Star Wars battlefront pre-order
