Doug Buffone will be sorely missed. There was nothing like listening to him and O'Bradovich talk about the game on the radio. RIP, Uncle Fuzzy.

Amen! Always admired his ability to combine devotion to tradition with an understanding that the game changes. It kept him from becoming a walking parody of an old football player, unlike many other prominent NFL vets.

Tough year for Chicago sports icons.

We in Florida, lost our version of him in Jim "Maddog" Mandich.

They were great after a Bear game. Especially after a loss. Loved the passion.

Love listening to him on the Score back in the mid to late 90s. What was the cause of death?
