Toys R Us sports games sale

Two for $70 total.

Does not include NBA2K though, maybe because it's not released?

Hmm, already have Madden and besides FIFA, not sure NHL is worth it because it's missing features?

Does not include NBA 2K15 because that's not an EA Sports title. Look at the common denominator among the games in this deal -- Madden, FIFA, NHL and UFC.

It's a good deal if you don't have EA Access. The only game i'm interested in is FIFA.

It's still a good deal, even with Access. EA won't place any of the 15 sports games into the Vault until at least next spring. So you can get two EA titles, play them for a while and still get anywhere between $10-20 trade-in value at Best Buy next spring. Even more during a 50 percent or 100 percent trade-in bonus at BB.

Or you can keep FIFA 15 and trade NHL 15 immediately for $40, which is what I'm going to do.

NHL 15 is pure trash. Besides the missing modes, CPU-controlled teammates still are brain-dead in the defensive zone, leading to yet another year of shooting galleries and easy rebounds in the slot by CPU teams in single-player games. EA NEVER has modeled this aspect of hockey properly.

Do they give you the $40 trade in on NHL even if the game is opened?

Of course if you keep it too long the value could drop.

Yes. That's the trade-in value for a used copy of NHL 15.

The value should drop. NHL 15 is garbage. That's why I'm jumping on the trade deal this week. NHL 15 isn't worth $30 new, so I'm happy to earn $40 in trade-in value from a store where I shop fairly often.
