I predict Mich State over Louisville for the whole thing.

I have Syracuse losing in the second round to Ohio State. A premature, but fitting, end to what was such a promising season six weeks ago.

Otherwise, I don't care. Bring on the NBA Playoffs. College hoops is the JV more than ever, with so few good players staying more than a year.

College basketball and football, other than Syracuse, have become a black hole for me since my kids have become two- and three-sport year-round athletes. If I want to see athletes not at the summit of their sport accompanied by plenty of rah-rah, I'll watch my kids with glee. Otherwise, give me the elite competition of pro sports every time. I want to see the very best in my limited free time.

But like one of Pavlov's puppies, I still completed a bracket to encourage wagering among our kids. Duke will cut down the nets April 7.

Without a healthy Embiid, KU's chances are slim to make a deep run. I could see them get bounced in either their first or second game. This is the worst Jayhawk defensive team of the Bill Self era. And once again, KU does not have a solid point guard to take them very far.

On a side note, good luck to Mizzou in the NIT!!!

I'd love to put my money on the Shockers, but to run the table all year long, AND run it in the tourney...well, that's an awfully tall order. I'm leaning Virginia at the moment...

I love how my Aztecs beat Creighton on a neutral court and Kansas in their own building, and only 4 losses, yet they are a 4 seed?

Go Aztecs!

Florida. In a bracket filled with teams that would like to keep games in the mid-30's, they're the rare team that can score and play defense. There are very few explosive offensive teams, and those teams can't play a lick of defense. Gators and Duke strike me as the most balanced teams.

That was awesome. If SLU can shake their slump, Louisville is beatable.

I've never been so happy to see my bracket get shredded on the second day of the tournament.

Welcome to baseball season, Raleigh-Durham. :P The rest of the country feels ZERO sympathy. Two early exits in the last three years for Coach K.

Dayton!!! That's potentially great for KU. Would have been torture going up against Syracuse's zone defense.

Pretty sure that is what every Syracuse fan said when Dayton beat OSU. Careful what you wish for.

I'm surprised UConn is still in it. I don't watch them much anymore but I didn't think they could beat Nova.

Well, that sucked!! But great defense and game plan by Stanford, and an Embiid-less KU team meant games were going to be close. Wiggins picked an awful game to struggle.

Come on Wichita State!

24 hours and no postmortem by Paul. Did anyone in the upstate NY area check rivers, under bridge, etc for a 'cuse fan?
