To no one's surprise the game is officially announced. Here's a more from the game producer S. Humber.

Looks like they finally added all the teams...199 teams. By curious if lower rated teams play defensively or are too good still.

First impressions:

FIFA 10 with confetti and 400% more cut-scenes!

My God. At one point I was fouled. I wanted to take a quick free kick, but they cut away to show me Marcello Lippi for the 30th time in the half! LOL

Is there a button you press to make Fernando Torres pout?

sorry about the elbow - hope it's not too bad a break. Sports related injury?

Thanks. It's a radial fracture of the elbow. Not bad but if not treated I could lose some mobility of the elbow. And I was snowboarding.

I thought you deliberately broke your elbow so you could test out how the iPad works one-handed. Just kidding! :) Get well soon, bud.

I ordered my copy with EA store since they had a $20 off coupon. Here's eurogamer's review.

The game is supposed to acknowledge positioning, team play and individual skill by adding or removing points from your running total, but it often does things that make no football sense, like marking you down for an incomplete pass because your brilliant back-post cross eluded a team-mate.
This drove me quite mad in FIFA 10, as did the fact that you would get penalized for incomplete passes for clearances that went out of bounds or awry etc.

I am playing FIFA 10 now and these penalties drive me crazy. Especially when the other team kick the ball 50 yards away and I am out of position and get penalized. WTF.

Picked up the game yesterday.

First thoughts...defense is damn near impossible to play.

Anyone else get this?

Got my copy from EA - like it so far, haven't played against a top team yet (I'm doing qualifying in the Captain mode). Looks slightly better, like the menus and feedback for the mode I'm playing, feels like I have slightly more control when it comes to power of shots or crosses (can't compare - I traded FIFA in - so it could just be tricking my mind).

Games feels more smooth than FIFA10, and the scenario mode is really fun, hit me up on xbl for a game. GT- Dr Costa
