Anyone get Lost Cities on XBLA?

Post by ScoopBrady »

I am a total sucker for these card/board games on the XBLA. I really enjoy Carcassonne and Catan so I was hoping Lost Cities would suck me in too. I played the demo last night and immediately bought it. It looks like we have another quality card/board game available. Did anyone else pick it up? I'd love to check it out online over the weekend. How many can play in a match? 2? 4?

Hmm I've heard not so good things from my fellow board game geeks. Let me know how it plays.

TTR is up next, not sure i am excited about it but whatever.

I played the demo and loved it. I think 800 points is a little steep. But, I'll probably cave.

My ex gf played this game a lot, the card version. You can also play it online for free, no need to put down money for the xbox live version. it is pretty fun, and I'm not much of a board game person.

I thought it was pretty fun. 800 is a bit steep though, so I've been holding off for now.

I spend all day at work with computers so the last thing I want to do when I get home is sit in front of one. I enjoy being able to play these games on a big tv sitting in a comfortable chair.

I can understand the feeling that 800 points is a bit steep too. I really like the game and know I'll get plenty of hours with it. To me $10 is a no-brainer for the amount of time I'll spend with it.

I'm beginning to think I'm a lot different than other gamers when it comes to worth of games. I always look at how many hours I'll get out of a game rather than content. To me the more hours I play a game the more that game is worth to me.
