OT: Movies you'd watch multiple times

There aren't a lot of movies that I find myself wanting to watch more than once. Most I've seen are one and done. I can't count kids movies, because I end up watching a lot of those many times because the kids always want to see them. This includes all of the Star Wars and Spider Man films, which (due to my son) I've seen more times than I can count.

The recent combination of really cheap DVDs and boring television has me revisting some movies I had not seen in quite a while. What are some movies that are worth more than a single viewing?

GREAT movie. Should be on my list, too. I think it's Murray's best work, and Scarlett Johansen was terrific.

It's one of those rare flicks that stuck with me for a long time after I saw it.

I have to watch Strangelove at least twice a year...

Petter Sellers...peaople love the Pink Panther movies but Strangelove is far and away his best work...he pulls off 3 very different characters flawlessly.

George C. Scott...just awesome...especially when he impersonates a bomber.

Sterling Hayden(most know hin as the corrupt cop that gets shot by micheal in the Godfather)...is terrific.

Then there is Kubrick...genius...which reminds me I left off 2001...

Edit:Almost forgot Slim Pickens...perfect as the bomber pilot.

I own or have owned pretty much everything listed here. I have come to the realization though that I rarely watch anything more then a couple of times that is not a comedy or animation (Toys, Nemo,, Ice Age, etc...). Just no time really for ones that the whole family cannot watch together. My other spare time is reserved for gaming now-a-days. Don't get me wrong, I still put on a classic flick now and again, just not nearly as much as I used to.

We just watched both Pirates of the Caribbean again this past week on BluRay. Those are fun movies! Star Wars and the first LOTR's get semi-regular rotation around here too. Wes Anderson flicks get decent play.

Oh...and Little Miss Sunshine will always have a special place in the rotation!

Pulp Fiction is probably the one I've watched more than any other. I almost always find something new to appreciate when I watch it.

I could watch the first half of Blazing Saddles over and over again. Same goes for the South Park movie.

And Selma Hayek's nude scene from Desperado never gets old, no matter how many times I rewind it.

Miracle- as a hockey guy just love the story and Kurt Russell is just phenomenal in capturing Herb Brooks.

Swingers- I know XXXIV mentioned it but i have to second. How can you not watch a movie over and over that encapsulates nearly everything i did when i was living the single life. "I'm gonna make Gretzky's head bleed for super fan #99 over there"---classic
