Looks awful. I am a huge fan of the first two alien moves but it just gets worse and worse every time they try to milk this cash cow. And yes, this looks ridiculously violent, like they are trying to cash in on the recent but dwindling interest in gore fest horror moves. I don't think I've ever seen a trailer that actually showed that much gore in it.Murph wrote:FYI: the trailer is rated R, just in case you're at work or around kids.

The movie itself looks pretty horrible (as far as plot, etc.) but I bet the actual Aliens and Predator fights will be pretty sweet, providing that they actually act like Aliens and Predators still.
I'm a pretty big fan of both the early Aliens and Predator movies and they were terribly gory, especially for their day, but they also had a good amount of substance in them too. I'd love to see them on either Blu-Ray or HD-DVD, actually.
This AVP2 is definitely not something I'd want to see in the theatre though.
