Madden 07 PS2/Xbox Version Thread

Not sure if it's ok to start another madden thread so if it's not, please post this in the other one.

I wasnt expecting much from the ps2 version but I am really digging this game!

Really like how they cleaned up the graphics this year. The last 2 years, the game was sort of dark but this year they did something with the lighting that makes the game come off the tv nice and bright!

Also, LOVE the gameplay. It's the first madden in years where the gameplay is not rigid and methodical. The game plays very wide open and the flow is great thus far.

Usually ncaa is the far smoother game and madden is the rigid one but this year it's the complete opposite. Dare I say that my first impressions of madden 07 gameplay remind me of ... yes... NCAA2004. Sacrilege, I know.

Game just feels fun on the ps2 this year. Last 2-3 years, really didnt like the dull methodical robotic movement , but this year it's completely different.

so far the only negetive is that the game seems to pause every cutscene or button press up to the line. Maybe it's my version or it's just like that this year.

Played online and pretty fun. Random player but he turned out to be cool, played unranked.

I'll be online this weekend, my ps2 gamertag is Inuyashaz.

Played some more offline and still liking the game. Seems like this year the game emphasizes the big play.

I guess it's just like that this year because my version does the exact same thing. It's more of a slight annoyance than anything else.

I'm also annoyed that the Vision Cone stays visible for the CPU when you're playing defense even when you have it turned OFF .
