Rugby 06 - Winning a ruck ?

Post by packmanuk04 »

I'm really enjoying this game but have a couple of questions -

1 - When I get tackled or tackle somebody a ruck forms. How do I know who has possesion of the ball ?

2 - I know I have to press A to add more players to the ruck, does this give me more chance of a turnover if i don't have the ball and more chance of keeping the ball if i do have it ?

3 - How do i start a maul and is it the same as a ruck ?

Any other tips on rucks ?

Can someone also please help with special plays. Do you only call them from ascrum or ruck ? When you choose a special play do you just let the computer do things for you or must you help ? I ask this because I see lots of button keys above players when i choose a play but don't know what they mean or what i need to do.

Any help with this great game would be appreciated.

I did reas that whole thread but it doesn't really answer my questions. Thats why I started a new thread to get some more in depth comments about rucking etc.

...that's why you read the thread and post your question to bump the thread. And then you wait for a reply.

Damn, I can't believe I'm db-ing this thread.
I'm in a pretty foul mood right now, maybe that's why.
