TOCA 3 still is scheduled to ship tomorrow, with arrival in stores -- at least specialty game shops -- Wednesday.
I'm playing host to the first of hopefully very many TOCA 3 Xbox Live Poker Nights on Wednesday. We normally start at 10:30 p.m. (EST), but I'm so geeked to play that I'm going to start around 9:30 p.m., probably right when I return from EB.
So please sign up here if you're in. I'll take as many as my connection can handle, and if there's overflow, we'll try to find someone with bigger bandwidth to handle all of us.
We'll race in a ton of classes, probably three- to five-lappers at most, so we can try as many classes as possible. Of course, I sense a few repeat races in the sprint cars.
TOCA, TOCA, TOCA!
Take care,
PK

If there's room, I'm in. If not, I think I can host. I recently had an upgrade to my DSL connection, and am anxious to try it out. When I popped in ToCA2, it gave me no grief over a setting of 12 racers.
Apparently, I had been stuck with 768/128 or something forever for no good reason. A couple phone calls and now it's the 3.0/768 connection, which is a whole new world.

Do what I'm doing: Buy it on release day at retail and return the unopened copy from our hookup to EB for your money back. No way I'm waiting on this baby ...
Take care,

Mine is on preorder, so I'll hop in with you guys if theres room. I'll do my best Takuma Sato impression for all of you!
I also just got more bandwidth with my ISP (actually a whole new ISP), so I might be able to host. The deciding factor in upgrading was playing Flashpoint with PK and the guys a couple times; I was getting terrible connection speeds. I should be much better now.
I'm looking forward to the Aussie V8's, the GT's, and the rally. I think the classic cars could be a blast too.
Yes, but my hookup yelled at me (playfully, of course) when I told her I bought the IndyCar Series game because I was too impatient to wait for my free copy.
Also, I was told, you go straight to the Codies for your hookup, while I wait for one closer to me. So you still may get the unopened version quicker than I'll get mine.
