My fault. www.mvpmods.com

It has accurate rosters with players faces updated, along with higher resolution uniforms, modded ballbarks with accurate adds and dimension info, custom cameras, custom pitching meter that makes it more difficult to throw strikes, new 2006 schedule, etc, custom ESPN overlay, custom player photos, etc. All told over 6000 pieces of modded info.

You put it in your main Mvp 2005 folder, not the created folder in your my documents.

It's fantastic. Some very dedicated and talented dudes over there.

ohiost

Here is what is included:

* 58 updated stadiums (various modders #1)
* 897 updated cyberfaces (various modders #2)
* The best most up to date rosters (Totte)
* 1363 audio updates INCLUDING some new team audios (Total Audio+ HORY)
* 3277 portrait upgrades (Total Portraits HORY)
* 21 generic face upgrades (Uncle Mo)
* 448 uniform upgrades (mainly Mosser plus #3)
* 63 Loading screens (should be updated again before the final version)
* 2006 schedule (Hory)
* multiple backgrounds (some will be reworked before the final version)
* NEW datafile (MaddiesDaddy) contains #4
* NEW Overlay (Trues)
* 58 stadium select screens
* updated LOC files

I installed it. It really does look much different (in a good way)than 05. New uniforms, stadium specific banners, signs. One weird thing is the btp cam is much further back now. This is just a beta, so it could change by the opening day file.

Will have to check this out. This wasn't supposed to be ready until around the 20th. I DL'd the Total Classics 4 mod with all the great teams of the past,and its pretty good,if you don't mind sticking to exibition games. They're working on a recreation of the 1994 strike shortened season also.
Your going to need some horsepower,and space to play it though. DB, should look pretty sweet on that 24" monitor you mentioned in the other thread.

Ive been following this for a few weeks and it looks great. Now Ive just got to go out and snag myself a pc copy of the game.

Looks like my MLB fix for this year is taken care of. I'll still play ncaa on the console and hopefully something will be good for the psp as well.

Website is super slow. Be prepared for some bad page loads, it eventually does work though. Thanks for the info on this. Going to download and check it out tonight.

Actually it doesn't look that much better than a normal 19" or 20" LCD. Remember, it's up to the developers to push that resolution. The highest setting is 1600x1200...so it's got black bars on both sides of my monitor (assuming I don't run it in stretch mode but that just makes it look worse). It doesn't look much better than anyone else running a LCD with support for 1600x1200. Now, if they fix/patch it and allow me to play in 1920x1200, then I will be in heaven. There are only a few games that support that res right now so I'm not too hopeful. A game that is terrible is PES5...it only does 1280x1024 so there are black bars ALL THE WAY around the image in the middle...that is ghetto. I really wish they would allow for higher res textures.

DB.

You're gonna LOVE this. I just found a way to enable widescreen on MVP 06 :)

http://www.widescreengamingforum.com/fo ... eball+2005

Takes some Binary/Decimal skills, but you can do it! :) Took me a few minutes, but it looks UNREAL!

I can only run at 1360x768 tho. Your monitor is a lot better than mine.

Dude...awesome. Just did it, worked like a charm. It's a little squished, but nothing worse than watching network tv on a widescreen HDTV...so it's completely watchable...much better than windowed on my monitor. Thanks a million...that's outstanding.

I tried this and dont like the far away behind the pitcher camera. Anyone know how I can get the default cameras back, while leaving everything else from the mod alone? Also, there seems to be a glitch we the behind the pitcher camera switches to a view that is showing the crowd and I cant see the pitcher or the meter.

I wanted to grab this, but it appears the site is down.

On a somewhat related note, what controller does everyone use for MVP on their PC?

Logitech makes some amazing controllers. I have the one above for my pc and two more wireless ones for my ps2.
