Ding-dong, Hoodie is gone. Now if Jerrah and his kids get sent home next week by the Vikes, all will be well.

Not always...Here are your 1947 NFL champion Chicago Cardinalsgreggsand wrote:The franchise is jinxed already.XXXIV wrote:Im gonna jinx you big time.....I think the Cards will win easygreggsand wrote:F the Packers. Arizona baby! Saints/Cards should be something... I like ARZ's chances.

I was serious. I fully expect them to wipe out the Saints.

I fumbled for a TD vs Badgun's then Colts last DSP season in OT...though the score was much didfferent as it was 3-3 at the timeBrando70 wrote:If I lost a Madden game the way the Packers did today, I'd need to buy a replacement controller tomorrow. Warner was probably having Arena League flashbacks.

My controller survived as it happened to hit a cushion on the ricochet .
I havent lost missing an easy FG though ....
EDIT: Yet.
That was a GREAT game - Arizona vs Green Bay!
I love offensive battles much more than a defensive games. Defense may win championships, but great offenses are really fun to watch!!!
I love Warner, but I was pulling for the Packers because I wanted Aaron Rogers to get a chance at Minnesota. Next to Payten Manning, he's one of my favorite QB's in the NFL. They will be back!

Biggest busts in NFL history:

Not comprehensive.
Certainly not enough current players like JaMarcus Russell.

My apologies to the Saints...I thought you would be one and done. Ive thought that all season...Especially when you needed luck to help you beat the Rams and Skins.... I was wrong.... You are not so bad afterall. Im glad I quit serious gambling.
That was one hell of an ass kicking. It will be very hard for me to pick against you next week...

Who does Dan Dierdorf work for? CBS or the NFL? Hes got ref cum dripping off of his chin.
That call on Lewis was a f***in joke.
Who thinks the Ravens can come back from down 14? Who thinks that the Rams will make the playoffs next year?
EDIT: When do 2 ints = 0 ints? When you are the Ravens
Edit2: Ravens should have not buttered the ball .

Aaron Rodgers was looking for that call last week.XXXIV wrote:Who does Dan Dierdorf work for? CBS or the NFL? Hes got ref cum dripping off of his chin.

Hell Refs it was only a missed call in OT.The lack of a facemask call on the final play between Cardinals-Packers was, at the very least, worth debating.
The lack of a penalty on Bertrand Berry for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Aaron Rodgers two plays earlier was harder to defend. Even the NFL agrees.
Berry was fined $5,000 for the hit, an admission that the officials missed the call. If Berry was penalized, the Packers would have had a 2nd-and-10 instead of a 2nd-and-20. (Packers guard Daryn Colledge was called for a holding call on the same play.)
After the NFL's defense of the final play, it's no surprise that Cardinals cornerback Mike Adams wasn't fined for fondling Rodgers' facemask.

Yep I'm still salty over that non call.

It's hard to get too fired up over these games when they aren't even competitive.XXXIV wrote:Thats what I would expect...It is a passion for some of us.JackDog wrote:

Edit: and thanks for joining me. I thought I was all alone on the board watching football today.

I'll echo you in hoping for at least one close game to save the weekend. I'd like the Chargers to win, but I'm hoping Shonn Greene plays well and the Jets at least make it interesting.
