Parker needs attention like humans need oxygen. It's the only reason he posted here again -- he was lacking oxygen from other forums.

So the best thing for everyone to do is ignore him, don't respond to any of his posts, and suffocate him as the waste of bandwidth that he is.

If there's a 0 in the replies column of every post he starts and no one responds directly to one of his replies in posts not started by him, he will feel neglected and go away. It's the reason why he never trolled here that often during the time he honored his bet. He wasn't getting the attention he so craved, so he bolted.

Trolls need oxygen. I find it hard to believe that the collective discipline of this place can't snuff his air supply.

Simple enough.

Take care,
PK

Parker wrote:"Instead of just saying "yeah, that's right", you then say you're talking about the attitude of the people."

Because I was. I guess I'm a bit more analytical than the tv viewer who does nothing more than count the number of fans in the stands.
More analytical, eh? So you've done a study on the attitude of the West Coast fan, eh? Something scientific maybe, with a sound methodology perhaps? Maybe a study on fan attendance by inning in all of the major league ballparks?

This is a prime example as to why people don't like you. Your posts ooze with an unfounded arrogance that is completely unnecessary. Someone brings out data to back up a claim, and you bring it back at them with a snide comment about how you're "a bit more analytical" than a person that would bring this up. (And don't try and squirm out of this by saying you were referring to the "tv viewer" in general, and not BKrich in his response.)

That, combined with your desire to squirm out of what you say really bothers people.
I am the same Parker I was before. You didn't ban me then, but I guess you have changed.
My bullshit tolerance has decreased. I spend too much time keeping this site running as it is, and I don't want the forums ruined by someone who likes to play forum attention whore. Quite frankly, it's not worth my time.

But regardless, I haven't banned you yet. I probably should have banned you when you first came to the forums considering your horrific history at SR. But my policy was (and still is) that I won't ban someone based on things at other forums.

However, I can and will ban for whatever reason I want. And when I have to spend time dealing with problems on here that are directly related to you instead of doing other things, it annoys me. Fortunately I've been very kind and haven't banned you, and I'm still holding back from it right now to give you a chance. But you're on extremely thin ice. You're going to have to learn to not be such a pain in everyone's backside if you want to stay. Otherwise, you're gone.

If you have any questions, comments, etc., feel free to PM me or post here.

There is plenty more you can casually observe besides how many people there are. Much of it having to do with how fans react to events during a game. Or how loud they are. Is that so hard to understand?

The point here is that you have NO basis to say that you're more analytical than Bkrich or anyone else. Evidence/analyses for that would be something like pulling out some study on West Coast attitudes or fan attendance by inning or something. Furthermore, casual observation is NOT analysis. If you want to get truly analytical about this, observation of how fans react watching games would be classified as anecdotal evidence, which is definitely NOT analysis and is in no way analytical. If you're going to say you're "more analytical", you can't back it up with anecdotal evidence.

But back to the general point. The arrogance in posts like these causes discord. I don't like discord on my forums. So I reserve the right to kick you out of my forums if I want. I've been MORE than fair to you during your time at DSP and have defended you when no one else has. What I'm asking is that you learn how to exist on the forums without the arrogance, argument squirming, etc. that has marked your posting history. Otherwise, you're gone.

Save yourself the headache Jared and just boot him now. He's arguing the same points you laid out in the same way you laid them out with you right now. Rather than saying "Hey, you're right. I'll work on it.", he's trying to stir the pot some more. It's like he gets off on it.

84 posts in two days...my god!

OTH, the antidote to most threads seems to be a post by me. I mean, look how many threads have petered out after I've posted in them. Oh sure, sometimes they sputter on for a few more posts afterwards but I'm usually the kiss of death for any thread. Just not entertaining enough...

best wishes,

Doug

I remember flame after flame that you threw at me consistently as "Resin" at SR....out of respect for Jared and the rest of the DSP users, I won't go into detail as to what I really think of you and the utter BS you pulled there....needless to say, I won't be wasting any more of my time responding to you. I think a fence post would be a much better choice to try to have a rational discussion with than the nonsense you pull in virtually every response.

If BC can beat Illinois, I'm very confident those will be the final 4 teams. Obviously, that won't be easy, but it will happen.
