Alright...I switched it up, and changed the league to no waivers, then dropped Harden from Jack's team (shall we call him a jack-ass?) and picked him up with Matt's. Now Jack-ass just has to pick up whoever he wants to fill his empty spot. I can't do it because the waiver rules were still in effect when he dropped Gonzalez.

There is always someone who f's the league up in one way or another (cough...Javi...cough), creating work for me. Oh well.

Come on guys, lay off Jack...he is new with this type of stuff. It is not his fault this mess started to begin with anyway.

The only reason I didn't put in a claim is that I saw the messages posted here.....and that was before the message was posted on the league site.

BTW, I am having a blast again with the league......and no way SFZ stays the course the whole season....if he does I'll be the first to tip my cap.

Now do you want us to give him a break piggy? Not exactly an honest mistake. He can kiss my ass if he wants to play the prick. Next time there are issues, I'll just lock his team so he can't do anything...that way I don't have to play f*cking referee.

Sorry for causing all this trouble  I know exactly what DB goes through being a commish. I've been the commish of a Fantasy football legue for the past 7 years, and I hate it when the job turn into babysitting.

My mistake still managed to screw me because I couldv'e had Piazza Sunday but now I lost him. To top itb off, Zaun is now injured, so I could have really used him.

No embarassment, Piggy. I didn't blame Jack for grabbing Harden -- those messages are easy to miss on the league page. But then he posted that message and had to play the finders-keepers card.

Of course, if he needs pitching help, I will gladly trade him Jake Westbrook for Todd Helton or Cliff Floyd.

I'm not even part of this league, but this deserves the following:

It seems to me that the commish overstepped his bounds, since the league is playing for $$$. s*** happens.

Should I be forced to send Wade Miller back to Cincy because that owner didn't realize he could DL him?

I didn't put a claim in for Harden, but I can see Jack's point. If we were just playing for fun, and money wasn't involved, then this is all cool. I'm kind of bothered by how this went down. I sure don't think Jack deserves to be stuck with a 16 slot for waivers.

Fine, he should have hisoriginal slot back. As for it being for $$$, give me a f&*king break. WHat is it, $5 a person? It's not ALL about the money, it's supposed to be for fun, with some $$$ thrown in for incentive.

I had Haren and Harden, both pitchers from Oakland on my team. I dropped the wrong one in an obvious mistake. Once again you are proving what a jacka$$ you are.

Maybe I should just give Harden to Jack just so DB won't have to deal with the crap some guys are giving him about this. If it had been another team, I would be fine with the way DB handled the situation. What he did was fair. Did he HAVE to do it? No, but it was the right thing to do.

BTW, you can keep Miller. Looks like you need all the help you can get.

If you don't like the way I run it, you can shut the f*ck up, I'll give you your precious few dollars back, and then we don't have to hear from you again. Deal?

Matt so clearly made a mistake. Two guys from the same team with almost identical last names. Plus, as soon as he made the mistake, he let DB know about it. If there was a reverse transaction function, we wouldn't be having this discussion. What happened to good sportsmanship?

look, I didnt mean to piss anyone off. Matt, I offered you Harden back in a trade. Just take it and then I am out of this thing. I dont need some immature punk ass calling me a "jack-ass" for just picking up someone on waivers. I had been saving my #1 pick for a long time and figured if I didnt grab him, someone else would. I really dont give a sh*t. Whoever said I didn't know what I was doing in this league was right. All I know is people make mistakes, but in leagues that are mechanically run by the web page, usually everything gets screwed up if you start adjusting things "manually". Either way, I'm out. It only took one little thing by me to get DB to jump all over me and to go back to his typical name-calling crap.. Have fun guys. I'm outta this mess.

No, that's just when the last place team decides they can't win sh*t and they try to f*ck it up for everyone else. It has nothing to do with the date...it's called throwing in the towel.

nah i dont want or need him back but thanks anyways

i was well aware of the DL Rule been doing fantasy leagues for over ten years now

in fact i managed second place in this very league last year with constant injuries to my roster a couple starting positions had season ending ones and it seemed my DL spots were active all the way though the season

im simply loaded in starting pitching and had more pressing needs at the time....not to mention no patience for wade miller and recent history of ailments as he really didnt bring anything to my team i didnt already have

but glad to see he had a good outing for you the other night hope you have better luck with him

Jack,

Since you aren't visiting the league page anymore here is what I posted:

It wasn't the fact that you picked him up...it's the fact that you basically said "f*ck you" when it was pointed out that he was off the market. You know, this line:

<<sorry.....I have been holding onto my #1 waiver oick since the start of the season and I am not taking this back now. Mistakes are mistakes....just live with it.>>

Just live with it? No, it was an honest mistake and I was trying to correct it. If you had said, okay, my bad and dropped him, everything would have been fine. If you are going to be a prick about it...I'm going to handle it the way I see fit.

I won't miss you in my other leagues if you choose not to participate again...trust me.

I don't want out, I just wanted to voice my opinion. I know the $$$ aren't that great, but I felt like I should point out that there is a gray area here.

I'm not sure why Matt wasn't able to be given Piazza as well, with the reasoning everyone is using.

For one, I never asked to have him back. Call it my pennance for screwing up the roster move. I don't know why you and Jack are complaining anyways. Had I made the right move I would not only have Harden, but Piazza as well. Because of my screw up, you guys BOTH had another shot at Piazza, but instead decided to take shots at me.

Jack, it was your message that basically said F-U to DBs authority that did you in. If you want to use that as an excuse for quitting now, go right ahead. Maybe you're still mad that I didn't just give you Pierre in a trade when you said you'd love to have him. I made a fair trade offer and you insulted me...end of trade talks. Are still holding some sort of resentment for me not offering him up to you for Joe Crede or something?

To add a bit of lightheartedness to this, here's something you don't want to see when you check your stats in the morning:

Ryan Wagner ERA: INF WHIP: INF

That's a quick ticket to bootsville.

Second to 11th this week, I've turned into Dusty Baker.

I never said "F-U" to you Matt or Db or anyone else...all I did was say it was a mistake and took him before anyone else did. You guys are all jumping to your own conclusions. I have no problem dropping my pick if everyone agreed it was the right thing to do. I also had no problem being in last place all season. I was just doing this for fun and didn't expect to beat any of you guys who are more experienced at this. But when Db reverts back to his childlike name calling, that kind of takes the fun out of it for me. All he had to do was send me a pm asking me to drop my pick, explaining why and I would have gladly done so. Maybe I shouldn't have picked him up....Matt made a misake, so I made one too in picking him up. I already explained why I did it and never knew it would cause this much controversy. And I'm not "throwing in the towel" becasue I'm in last place. I'm leaving because Db is always jerk about everything. To everyone else, have fun and good luck.
