I do have 2 weeks on vac at the end of March
TOCA 3 Poker Night Wednesday night
Moderators: Bill_Abner, ScoopBrady
I just preordered it yesterday after work when I picked up Fight Night at Gamestop and was told it was going to be in today and I stopped in after work today and they had no idea why they didn't receive any of the xbox versions. I was really looking forward to a long night of racing tonight with everyone here too.

i have to agree - i was very impressed playing the demo at my buddy's place.. it seemed almost too real..TCrouch wrote:FN3 is badass Zep.
They did some very nice tunes to the ability to target specific parts of the body. I had a hard time going from jabs to the head and then mixing up to the body last year, but this year they either refined the controls or the new models and animations made it easier, I'm not sure.
I can tag the head with a jab/hook to the body/jab to the gut/rising uppercut and just unleash pinpoint combos.
Get it, man!
i guess i wont be in the "first races" since the game was delayed a bit & have to work late Fri... but if everyone's around for Sat, I think i can hop on after my nieces birthday party...

Now I'm thinking about what our first class will be online. As much as I would selfishly like for it to be the historic open-wheel cars or the Formula 3's, it has to be sprint cars. It just has to be.

Take care,

And of course I have a friend coming over Friday night, so I may not be able to make a poker night tomorrow! We'll be doing some PC gaming in the basement. We could hop on for a bit on the xbox, provided my wife isn't sleeping on the couch (her preferred spot now that she's carrying kid #2).

Just got off the horn with my EB, and they said Friday.
I'm watching the kids Friday evening while my wife goes to a friend's birthday party, and then I have an indoor soccer game at 9:45 p.m. I can't host Poker Night but will try to jump on for some late-night racing.
Take care,
PK

dammit db, now I am going to have to go out and buy the PC version too. You say it works well with the Momo, you have the Red Momo? I have had all the TOCAs on PC to date and the worst thing about the last/ two was the FF control with the wheel. Are you using the full simulation mode?dbdynsty25 wrote:I've been playing it for the last two hours on my PC and holy crap...it's ridiculously awesome. The handling is very different from class to class and there are a hellova lot of options. It works great with the Momo Wheel too...gotta love that.

I have the black momo actually. I'm not sure what mode I'm in actually...I've just been racing random single player races in the different classes (those that are available at this point anyway) and it seems to be pretty good. I haven't really tweaked many settings, so I couldn't tell you if the FF is screwed up on the wheel. I've never played the Tocas on the PC before so I can't tell you if it's any different. The good news is that it's only 29.99...so it saves you 10 bucks from the console versions at least.DChaps wrote:dammit db, now I am going to have to go out and buy the PC version too. I'm off from work today so before I went to go pick up Kev from school, I swung by my local Gamestop. They told me they are receiving it tomorrow, so I'll pick it up tomorrow.vader29 wrote:I just got an automated call from Gamestop saying the game will be available for pickup tomorrow.
My son Kev ended up being way better at Forza than I, so I may get him in some of our races, some of you that play with OSers may have played with him in the past on Halo II, he was godly in that game.
