360's Are Coming!

Lady at Circuit City here in Atlanta told me today that they haven't received a single 360 since the initial launch. Not sure if I believe her or not, but that's what she said. Pretty remarkable if you ask me. It's not like I'm living in Nowheresville, USA (not that there's anything wrong with Nowheresville). When's the PS3 coming again?

I have been told the same thing by multiple targets and walmarts. I have yet to hear of a single store in Georgia receiving any 360s since launch. I was however told today by a lady at target that they expect a shipment in between the 11th and 18.

Just called my Costco out of curiosity and yes, they did have them this morning for about 30 minutes after they opened.

I wouldn't count on a launch here in the US in the Spring.

However, it's not clear whether Sony is talking about a spring global launch or just in Japan. We are thinking global at this time, but many things can change from now until Spring 2006.

I just can't see SONY launching in the US at the same time as Japan. I hope Im wrong.

My Barnes and Noble bundle has changed to "shipping".

I wonder if that means the stores will start to get them in this week?

I just happened to be in the store when the truck arrived. If I was on the other side of the store I never would have gotten one. As soon as they put them out they get on the PA and annonce "we have 8 xbox 360's in". 1 minute later they announce "and they are all gone"

I called the 2 targets around me and they said they didn't get any in today. I wonder if tomorrow might be the day.

I called the Target by work after reading Danimals post and they said they got 3 in over the weekend and were sold out in a half-hour. I'm glad I already have one but I'm trying to find one for my brother now.

Guys here is the deal, I don't think you will ever score one if you're calling your Targets. They will flat out just spew BS to you on the phone. I had called a few times last week to see at various stores, was told no...only to find out later they did have them. Anyway that is just my expereince.

I went to my Target in Souyth Elgin, I walked in promptly at 8am when they opened, went to the electronics section, they had 7 or 8 in the case. I bougth one (they wouldn't sell me anymore) then 3 employees bought one right after me.

So when I left they had sold half of what they got which was by 8:05 and I was the only non-employee customer. I pass this Target on my way to work, I knew they had them last Monday and I played a hunch today and it worked out.

Of course I am at work and will not get to try it until tonight, but at least dealing with Best Buy on the 18th is done.

Just some other info I learned in my area.

Walmart is holding until the 18th just like BB, at least in Geneva, IL

Sams Club is getting them in between the 15th and the 20th, I was told that by several employees there.

Got mine Friday at Target and then sold it for $800 to a guy in the parking lot.He was going in to get one , but I got the last one.Easy $400 profit.
