Easiest way is probably to follow the link and request a join. Sadly, I can't seem to find an option to make others Admins, so I'll need to respond to the request. I'll try to monitor it closely though to get the accepts out there.

This is where Battlelog is particularly idiotic - because I have two profiles I can't join the Platoon because Origin has me as a PC-only player until they merge my accounts - I've emailed them to ask them to do this and I fully expect them to get back to me around the time we get peace in the middle east.....

Ok, I've found how to promote members to leaders, so any of you who've joined should be able to accept/send invites from others.

I'm sure G7 remembers this, but we attended a Barenaked Ladies concert where the guys pre-set soundchecked using various Parappa lines.

'Butter Butter Butter, joins the bowl...'

Was cool.

:D Good times

Was scanning Netflix the other day and saw this blatant rip-off of Kung Fu Panda called Chop Kick Panda. Derisively I started to say aloud, "Chop. Kick. P...," before my wife said, isn't that from that rapping dog game :P

"Kick, Punch, It's all in the mind..." 8)

I was excited to see the alternate controls puts the crouch / prone / stand on the right bumper. All that clicking was messing with my thumb. Not to be greedy, I wish there was a way to map it to B.

I requested to join the DSP platoon last night. I look forward to getting some time with this game over the weekend. I'll look for you guys out there.

Once in the platoon, what does that actually do for playing the game?

I have not played a next gen FPS and was thinking about picking this up as a rental. However, am I correct in understanding that if I want to join you all online this weekend, it would cost me additional $10 or so to activate online mode? I assume this would not be the case if I purchased the game outright?

Correct. An online access code is in all new copies of the game. Otherwise you have to make an XBL purchase.

Just had a round where I had a 50/50 Kill to Death ratio. That is an accomplishment for me. I've never felt so proud to be mediocre. :D

You have just become my new hero. The only 50/50 i've ever had is 0/0 when i entered a round late and hid in the corner for the last few minutes as the team i was on was about to win!

 I'm 31/54 at the moment, but relishing by ridiculous W/L ratio of 5/1 (small sample size FTW :P )

Only one way to go from there, I'm afraid.
