LeBron needs to FedEx that MVP trophy to the LA Lakers, Attn: Kobe Bryant.

That's how an MVP is supposed to perform in the playoffs. They give that award out too soon.

Overreaction.

IMO, you can't really compare Kobe and Lebron that way, cause the truth is, Lebron doesn't have players that are nearly as good as Gasol, Odom, Artest, Bynum plus a CLUTCH shotmaker like Fisher, on his team. Oh btw, he doesn't have Phil either.

Even with the additions the Cavs made, at the end of the day, it was Lebron having to carry the load basically by himself. His teammates are front runners that basically gave up on Game 6. All of them chocked.

Just my .02.

I agree. No way that the trophy should go out before the playoffs. Kobe was absolutely ridiculous last night. He controlled absolutely everything. I'm not sure the Suns have anyone that can do any better than Hill or Dudley did on him. EVERY shot was contested...they roughed him up a bit, yet he still nailed everything. If the Lakers continue to shoot 60% from the outside, Suns are f'd. But again, this is all gravy. Suns weren't supposed to make the playoffs according to the "experts". Successful season for sure. Hopefully the shots don't fall like that tomorrow or it's gonna be a short series. I know one thing...the Suns won't lay down. They are resilient. Sometimes there are just better teams out there.

It is sad that the size advantage wasn't even a factor last night...crap.

Gravy Schmavy. Your team is one series from the finals. Suck it up and steal one game in LA. It could happen. They may never get this far again for many years. You gotta make the best of this NOW.

Wow, Boston is playing so unbelievably good.
When Rondo is the best player on the floor and
you STILL have Pierce, Garnett and Ray Allen...you
are a pretty tough team. I don't think ANYONE expected
the Celts to go into Orlando and come out leading 2-0!

Great game to watch last night.....BTW. Carter missing those 2 free throws and then Orlando not calling a timeout IMMEDIATELY upon getting that last possesion proved fatal mistakes. Great physical game as well. You gotta love playoff basketball!

I think if there is one team in the NBA that matches up well with the Lakers, right now, it is the Celtics.

They actually play defense, something no team in the West does; they are big/physical up front with Perk, KG, Wallace and Davis, to bump Gasol and Bynum; and they can still score.

They are playing very confident also. The Lakers are a great team and would probably be the favorite, but I see at least a six or seven game series.

Oh yeah, the Celts v Lakers should be a great series. I really hope the Lakers don't just beat them. I want to see the Celts (esp Garnett) get completely blown-out. Just the thought of Garnett screaming at his teammates while he sits on the bench in 25 point blow-outs makes me all happy inside :P

Difference from two years ago would be if Artest is able to play Pierce physically without putting him on the line at least 10 times a game.

And to a lesser extent, the same with how the Lakers defend Rondo. The guards will try to slow him down (Fisher will just grab him when he can) while the big men basically zone off in the middle waiting for him.

Not going to happen.

Celtics play suffocating D. Lakers haven't faced D like this in all 3 series (just like Magic in the previously 2 series). Rondo is playing out of his mind. This Celtics team is peaking at the right time, and people should not be surprised when they dismantle this Lakers team.

You wonder why Amare can't play like that all the time?

The Lakers looked like Lebron and Clev. last night. Kobe was the only one that showed up.

Phoenix and Orlando both coming back and trying to make it a series. I like it.

Boston blew it big time though last night. That last possesion looked like the Keystone Cops.

Barely. I wouldn't get too excited. Look for some good 'home cooking' calls like PHX got in games 3 & 4. The "home officiating" is def the weakest part of the NBA playoffs that seems to be tolerated yearly...

Barely? LOL...hilarious. Yeah, I hate how the refs guide the ball into the hoop for the Suns, more than the Lakers in the last two. Those f*ckers!

How bout the Lakers give more than 75%? How do you get absolutely annihilated on the glass? That's just not supposed to happen.

Oh yeah...and good call on the sweep. :)

The Lakers have been here before tho...they usually drop the hammer in game 5...but I'm not sure why they are letting the Suns hang around? It's not the Suns D that's hurting the Lakers, it's their D. For some reason the media thinks the Zone is hurting them...I just don't see it. They are still scoring over 100 a game...just giving up significantly more in the last two. Oh well. Should be fun Thursday and Saturday nights. I'm glad it's a series now at least...I had my doubts after game 1.
