Every game is an ugly brickfest with starring roles for Dirk, Kidd and Barea... and suddenly Marion and Gooden are clumsier than hell. I'd swear they played better during their 2-7 start last year.
LOL...I hear ya. Even the Suns aren't playing that well, regardless of the 10-2 record. In 5 of the 10 wins, they've been trailing by 12 points or MORE. It's either a good thing they are mentally tough enough to come back on teams or it's a bad thing that they are even trailing by that much in the first place. The thing I take solace in is the fact that the Suns have played 75% of their games so far on the road and they've already got 6 wins on the road. That's a decent sign at least.
Even though the Hawks are #1 in the Power Rankings, I feel like they are playing like crap. They aren't swishing everything and they lost the tipoff last game :)

FIRE MIKE DUNLEAVY YOU PATHETIC EXCUSE FOR AN NBA TEAM OWNER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don Nelson should be free soon. We'll take him over Dunleavy any day. Go Clips.

EDIT***

I should clarify that I like him as the GM, not as the coach. And definitely not as both.
As GM I think he's done a decent job in the draft, but signing Baron wasn't the smartest thing ever. Also, if he steps down as coach, who would want to work there with he and Sterling as the chain of command?

Well you at least need to be accurate or you wouldn't get a response from me.

TIED for the BEST RECORD IN THE NBA!!!

At least for another 10 or so hours when you'll be a half game back.

I know we're tied....that's why I was poking fun.

Hey, If the Hawks can keep pace with the Suns record, I will be a happy man.

You would know, you've been doing it for years. :D

It's all in good fun man. I saw your comment earlier in the day and noticed the Suns lost. I would expect the same from you if I proclaimed a win for one of my teams. I'd hate to see what you had to edit.

I'm sure you and Jared can pull it up somehow. Enjoy when you do. And no, I don't come into threads that I am not involved in nor care about and start talking sh*t.

Jack, I think Db is just amusing you 'cause I'm sure he cares very little about NBA standings in mid November.

Sure it is Mid-November but the Hawks are looking pretty freakin good this early on. As with any team though we'll see if they can avoid the injury bug and still healthy. I can't believe Joe Johnson is 28 already, time flies... he has been huge since getting to Atlanta.

Only downer in Hawksville is that Joe Johnson didn't sign and is going to free agency after this year. I hope he decides to accept an offer from the Hawks and stay. I can imagine he would leave after all his hard work in building up the team to the point it now is?

And of course I know it only Nov., but I am still tickled with the way the Hawks have come out of the gate. I have watched this team grow over the last 3 years and its amazing to see everything come together the way it has. I thought we were still 1 or 2 years away from competing with the "elite" NBA teams, but they may be ready now!

Celtics remain perfectly awful at home! Guess Doc's talk with Sheed about upchucking threes left and right went in one ear and out the other.

At least the defense looked good after they woke up. First ten minutes were really rough.

I know. Bibby holds this team together. Hopefully it isnt too serious. They need to give their rookie PG (Jeff Teague) more playing time anyway.

What, no comments about the Hawks losing to the Hornets right after the Suns do?

Yeah....thanks a lot for getting the Hornets back on track!

I just hope Bibby isn't out for too long or we will fall further behind.

Which one was it? The story is blocked at work.

I had it on my screen here at work for just a second, it's almost NSFW, but I'm sure you'd be able to guess if you had a picture of the whole squad. It's the blonde who looks like instead of throwing all of those mini-basketballs into the crowd, she kept two of them and passed them on to her second-rate plastic surgeon.

I figured the link that had "cheerleader doing porn" in it would be enough of a NSFW implication. :)
