Reggie Bush is on the cover. I didn't know there was a PSP version as well.

Wonder how much EA paid his parents...

Any word if you will be able to enter actual names for the PSP version? Or if it would somehow be compatible with the PS2 version for downloading rosters?

The Xbox version sounds closer to what we had last year while the 360 version sounds like a port of the awful Madden game on the 360. I'm definitely willing to give up the pretty graphics for a more solid gameplay experience.
The primary problems with Madden 360- the sluggish player control- have been fixed, judging from the gameplay videos that came out of E3. Supposedly the game feels a lot like last year's Xbox version with updated graphics and more robust playbooks. That's fine with me- I thought NCAA '06 was the most fun football game EA ever produced. Yes, running quarterbacks were a pain to deal with, and yes the deep ball continued to be a problem, but I thought the impact players worked very well, and I always enjoyed the fact that the game rewarded you for reading the defense and finding the single coverage. My biggest complaint about '06 was the limited playbooks, so if those have been beefed up, I'll be very happy.

NCAA was crack online with a cool player. I never had problems or saw problems with the deep ball ect. I think if you played 2006 like football, it played like football..

I hope 2007 is more of the same.

I had tons of problems online and offline with the deep ball. All they did was just throw the ball deep and 1 out of 2 times someone would catch it.
My xbox live name is "The Zlax45"

Only into single coverage. Easy solutions- 1) Play soft coverage. 2) Get pressure on the quarterback.

I am glad to be playing next gen NCAA. I liked the potential of the Madden engine and had some fun games with it - except for the QB fumbles and some other issues.

NCAA 06 was a good game, but I felt it was basically what NCAA 2005 should have been. And after playing the hell out of 2004, 2005 even though it sucked, and 2006, I am totally burned out on the old engine. I am ready for something different. I just hope we get a good game this year on the 360. I can live with the lack of stadiums and 1AA teams, but I want the gameplay to be complete.

One issue with EA football is that the tackling is not really dynamic, you either get tackled or break a tackle. There are no pile on tackles or a ball carrier dragging a tackler before other defenders assist in the tackle. Too many one on one tackles and not enough tackle animations. Tackling and gang tackling is such a big part of football.

From the vids I have seen for 2007 it appears there is no "get up" animation so the players look like they go from the ground to standing instantly, pretty funny looking.

That could never be more true, I mean c'mon, even Front page sports pro football had gang tackling.

Does EA even acknowledge the great tackling animations that were in NFL2K5!?

It pisses me off to no end, I want F*cking GD Gang tackling!

I've noticed that in other games. It looks like they're rising from the grave lol.
