Banff has NEVER been in TW. What part of that quote did I not read? Torrey and Bethpage have never appeared in TW for the 360/PS3 nor Wii. therefore, they are new to those platforms. Shill boy for Tiger? I guess you don't pay too much attention to the Tiger threads here or in the past several years. I have openly criticized EA for a number of things regarding the TW franchise. Want me to link you to those comments? I have also agreed with many OBJECTIVE criticisms from others, including YOU. In this particular case, you really do not have a leg to stand on because you quite frankly do not know what you are talking about. Your comments above document this lack of knowledge quite nicely. It really is a shame when you resort to name-calling when others disagree with your opinion OR disagree with you backed up with facts. EA gets courses that has majors in that year, which is fine. Then they take the game off off for whatever reasons, fees, upgrade, disk space whatever. But when a course doesn't appear for a few years, technically it's new that year, because the marketing people say it's new. Bethpage Black was in the 02 version, or around that version. Problem is this practice is accepted by the consumer and doesn't really hurt EA. When Links left the scene, they had quite a good library for that game. EA's library consistently hovers on the low side of things. It's a different time but if you think about the courses are rehashes like TPC and St. Andrew but you have to put them in the game. So they get upgrades. Then you through in a few new ones. And maybe take a few out for the reasons I listed above.

Another vote for Divot here. He is very enthusiastic about TW and golf games in general and I love that! He does stick up for the TW games a liitle bit sometimes, but not unconditionally. Not to derail, but if you like soccer PES 09 for Wii is outstanding, not to mention all the non-sports Nintendo stuff. Not really into soccer since FIFA on the 3DO. Actually you should consider getting a Wii just for TW.
