You too. I was just glad to get the connection issues worked out.
Paris St. Germain 1 Tottenham 1
SOG 12(7), 9(5)
FK 2, 5
Cor 4, 0
Fouls 5(2), 2(1)
Posses 53, 47
Scoring:
PSG: Pauleta (27')
Tottenham: Defoe (41')
The French and English sides played to a frustrating draw with both sides missing a number of good scoring chances. The visitors dominated the early play, demonstrating early that the hosts would have a long day containing the pace of Defoe, Berbatov and Keane. But the French struck first against the run of play, as Kanu played a perfect ball through to Pauleta, who had just a few inches on his defender. Pauleta took one touch and struck from just inside the area, beating the keeper to the wide side of goal and burying it in the side netting for the opener.
The teams exchanged chances throughout the balance of the first half, with Spurs finally drawing even shortly before half. Keane absolutely torched Dhorasoo on the English left, drawing cover from the center half and leaving a blazing Defoe wide open for a sqared ball. Defoe poked the ball home, completing the thorough filetting of the Parisian's defense.
The second half saw the Parisians dominate the play, but also featured a dazzling array of blown chances. Spurs had a few excellent chances themselves on the break, as PSG consistently got caught with too many men in the attacking third, but the English met with the same frustration finishing the deal.
Good game, Cloud. That could have gone 3-1 in either direction LOL
