Anyone have any idea how much HDD space that texture's disc is going to require?

Origin lets you pre-load/install it - it installed close to 12 GB on the PC.

I. CAN'T. WAIT.

This is getting ridiculous how anxious I am for this game. I mean, I'm a friggin' adult...grow up, right!? :lol: Tuesday is going to suck also. I have work but then a fall baseball workout after school so I won't be home until like 5:30 (as compared to 3:30 on a normal day). Maybe I'll shoot home at lunch to install the game. There definitely needs to be some gunfire among the DSP crew on Tuesday night.

Is the Battlefield series known for a decent SP campaign?

Not like COD:MW...BF has always been about the multiplayer first and foremost.

What DB said. Although the SP for BF3 has supposedly gotten a lot of polish.

For those getting the non-PC version - Is it a safe assumption that most of the DSP crew is getting this for 360 as opposed to PS3?

My 'virtual' friends (DSP gang and a few others) seem to all play 360 online but all my real life friends have PS3's only now. I am torn.

If I get it i'm leaning on the PS3 version.

360, which will be pretty much everyone I think.

Also, word on the street is that the texture pack on 360 will be 1.5GB and make quite a noticeable difference.

Two alleged shot comparisons;

Nice find Naples! Looks like a noticeable difference. 1.5 GB is reasonable too. I am pumped!

On PC and 360 (yes, I am a sucker). Most anticipated game of the year, bar none.

Anyone else on PC?
