I just can't get into NHL 14.. time to go back to NHL 13.

I just like the on the ice game better in NHL 13. I really hope they revamp this game for next gen.

After my 3rd NHL 13 season, I decided to give NHL 14 another go.

Still can't stand that bouncing puck.. but after turning up fatigue and turning down fatigue recovery, I'm getting excellent games.

We are off to a 5-0 start, Miller has played well and when he hasn't, we have manged to out score our opponent.

I like that the players are stronger on the puck and the AI seems a bit refined over NHL 13... not much, but a bit smarter.

Mizz, try celtic hearts sliders "revolution slider" he uses version 1.03 and the bouncing puck is not as bad, i really like them you could even try earlier tuners when the puck didnt bounce.

Thanks.. I really like the play right now so I can live with the bouncing puck as I'm afraid to tweak anything at this point. At least most of the time my players put a glove on the puck to get it back to their sticks. :)

During the playoffs, I got in the mood for more arcade like hockey, as it was a good way to blow off steam. I played a playoff mode using High Impact game style. It wasn't realistic, but it was kind of fun as hell. It is isn't how I would want to play always, playing a 7-5 game with a ton of hits is a different kind of stress. No lead is safe, but you always feel like you are in the game.

It's also kind of nice to play without any expectation of realism, but just for fun. Sometimes worrying about realism sucks a lot of the fun out every time something seems off.
