Dead Space 3 is on sale at Amazon for $39. I've been playing it for a week, my first hand on this horror shooter and I like it. Co-op is very cool too.

I still need to play Dead Space 2.
Gold box deals all day. If Hitman is $20 or less I might go for it.

Might be the time to buy that AAA title you always meant to play...
From February 26 through March 4, Xbox Live's Games on Demand service will discount more than 60 games. The price cuts go up to 75% off, with a handful coming discounted at 85%.

Batman: Arkham City, BioShock, Halo 4, Borderlands 2, Dead Island, Max Payne 3, Resident Evil 6, and Metal Gear Solid HD are just a few of the titles you'll see on sale next week.

I'm getting old. I had absolutely no idea that there was an MGS game for the 360. lol

Don't feel too bad...it's a compilation of last gen games in HD, not original material.

Although a new Metal Gear game came out last week? I don't care anymore.

I'll be picking up El Shaddai for $3. Been wanting to try that one.
Maybe Halo 4 for $40. Sold it recently but had second thoughts.

I wonder if this sale is happening because soon we will find out this content will not transfer to the next xbox? Like PS4.

DiRT 2 and GRID, for anyone who hasn't already taken them for a spin (oh, good Lord, I'm so sorry about that one), are absolute steals at those prices.

I'm grabbing those two and Bioshock for $15 total. Mega!

Where are the non-halo games on the XB console pages? I just see Halo listed.

Just find them in On Demand games, where you'll see the discounted price. Majornelson.com will feature the list of sale games every day this week.

Xbox 360 On Demand Games on Sale Today:

Assassin’s Creed - $9.99
Assassin’s Creed II - $9.99
Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood - $9.99
Assassin’s Creed Revelations - $14.99

As someone who has never played any of the Assasin's Creed games, is one of these more highly recommended than the others. Do you need to have played them consecutively to enjoy the series, or do they stand alone?

You will definitely miss out on some context if you don't at least know the story from the beginning.

The meta story might make more sense if you play them out of order or skip one here and there. :)

Best Buy having a 2 day sale, and Sleeping Dogs is up for $30. Not the best deal, but as cheap as it's been I think.

Might just have to bite on that deal. Have only played the game as a 2 day rental. How long is the single player?

I've only got about 10 hours into it so far, so not sure. I know there have been a few add-ons recently as well so it appears they are supporting it going forward.

That's long enough for me. Thanks. Was really impressed with the game in the limited time I played it.

X-Com for the PC is 18 bucks on Gamesplanet.com right now...you can buy it from the site even if you're in the US or other countries, then download via Steam. So anyone who hasn't tried it yet...now's the time. I picked it up for the 3rd time now (the first two were on the console and I never got around to playing).

The only thing I even got close to disliking in the end was the presentation, which is a bit...I dunno, a bit X-Games for my liking. The sound, graphics, handling, AI, customisation, difficulty and variety of events are pretty much spot-on, mate.

Arkham Asylum is £2.69 on the UK Dashboard. At present course and speed I'll be needing a new 360 hard drive in about 20 minutes.
