Wonder how long that BC Eagle Avatar lasts before it turns into a Red Sox avatar?

My money has him looking for one right now. Has to be the only reason he has not shown up here to post.

I could give a crap less about BU. I jusy wanted to shut you up. God the last few months were bliss.

Take the Illinois bet. I mean your the man right? So here it is.

If BC wins I am outta here for good. If they loose, bye bye to you AGAIN.

Now do you believe in your Boston Chokers enough to make the bet?

Parker wrote:Yep, that's the same reason why I made that Dolphins bet with db. The hypocrisy is overwhelming.

I'll make that bet when Illinois makes it that far. I know we will. But with my luck, I'll bet now and Illinois will be upset before then.

Well the majority it seems would hope he never shows back up. I don't post here as much so I really hope he shows. He makes for fun threads like this one. As for the bet he always has built in excuses. Of course I did the same with the football bet with him so it's really not my place to talk. ;)

As for excuses let's see:

Can't use fouls as an excuse. Wisc Mil had more fouls called on them.

I guess he could complain about the #4 seeding? Of course the way the Big East has been playing that would be impossible to do.

I am sure he can come up with some illogical reasoning behind the loss and why BC was screwed. It is what he does.

Don't forget, he's also got to go out and fire up his already famous excuse machine. He'll be around once he gets the new avatar, and the excuse mahcine up and running.

We did not get the first of the game and I just realized BC was up 11-0 to start the game. OUCH that has to really hurt.

Naw man, he's not hurt. It's BC. A choke is always expected. He knew it was coming.

You kiddin' me?? He's never going to leave with all of the attention he gets here. Look how many people came to this board with Parker on the brain immediately after the BC/Mil game. I saw 15 posts in like 5 minutes.

I think Parker's "enemies" enjoy the rivalry with him despite their protests. They give him a hard time about his predictions but most also congratulated him about the Sox and would have done the same about the Pats had he been around.

Speaking of predictions, someone will react angrily to this post (because I made it) so please PM any replies directly to me. I promised Jared I would do my part to cut down on the flame wars. Thanks in advance.

Actually, the lower seeding helped out BC, as they only had to play a 13 and a 12 seed in their two games. Just think if they got a #1 or #2 seed, it could have been an ugly game vs a team seeded #7-#10.

I can't speak for anyone else but I don't enjoy any such rivalry with Parker. I severely dislike him and want him gone again. You may be right about the rest but I wouldn't doubt if others felt the same way as me. He came back with the same arrogant "I know more about sports than anyone here" attitude. That's why I think you saw 15 posts in 5 minutes.

Wrong again. If you don't understand what's with all the posts I guess you don't read much. Scoop is right.

Fair enough, but I'm sure you see the dilemma. If BC's loss would have been received with muted silence from this board, what could he have done? He couldn't have said "I told you so" because they didn't win. And he wouldn't need to make up an excuse because nobody asked him to. It's called "feeding the trolls". That's why it seems to me to be a good-natured rivalry because it's so cyclic.

Talk about drawing attention to yourself, predicting -- accurately or inaccurately -- that someone will react angrily to your post! But hey, that was heroic of you to keep the ensuing flame wars contained to PM's.

Seems like you and Parker are cut from the same cloth. You just had to find a way to interject yourself into this one, didn't you, Kaz?

I'm not angry, simply because your original post was such a self-righteous joke.

Yes-ingly yours,
PK

What is the biggest choke job from Boston in the past year?

Boston College losing a BCS bid by losing to Syracuse in their final game at HOME.

Boston College losing to a #12 seed Wisc. Milwaukee

Boston Resident Parker quitting on his Red Sox when they were down to the Yankees 3-0 and changing to a Patriots avatar?

Tough call...

Don't you have a dead forum for your posts to rattle around in?

As far as I know there is plenty of room in my PM box. I keep it cleaned out. For what it's worth, the silent legion likes you better at the other place.
