Blame Zeppo

We've been playing under the DSP Town club. You're on my friends list, so you should be able to hop on. If not, I'll shoot you an invite next time I'm on.

Hey guys.

Can anyone confirm if there is a game mode that allows co-op online vs the AI like there is in NHL?

I also made the switch from PES to FIFA. I've only really tried the skill games so far, but I didn't even see where to set up a BAP character (assuming it works anything like NHL).

This year you can build one offline and another one Pro online in lieu of what was happening in last year's game with people cheating online.

I have opened two season pass packs, plus the pre-order ones and bought a couple of gold packs which landed me a couple of good golden players. With the extra cash I was able to form 2 golden teams, a silver one and I am still on a process of building a bronze team. FUT is deep and a lot of fun with the offline and online tournaments and if any of you have already a team or two already, we can hook up for a game. You can also play a friends' team offline if you want.

If you're lucky enough to land a 1-2-1-2 formation as I did it, it can sell anything from 5000 coins and up.

Classic Rob, but to me shouldn't match my keeper be on? if he wants to match a team with his no goalkeeper to me i read it as it should be set to on . Your turning it on to match your team not off as no goalkeeper.

Maybe it doesn't work still, but that was a classic warp there from the goalie that is glaring.

Yeah, as demonstrated in the video he definitely is applying the setting wrong.

No doubt, but EA is on record as saying none of the filters are currently working. :(

This was easily the thing that I was most looking forward to in this year's game, so I'm pretty pissed. They also were supposed to nerf the human keepers, and if anything they've made it even harder to score on them because of the changes to first touch and shooting mechanics.

So disappointing, as we regularly hammer back teams with human GK out-shooting them 2 or 3 to 1 with better quality chances to boot and still end up blanked.

My online experiment with FUT tournaments so far have been way more satisfying playing with my Bronze and Silver teams than the overpaid golden primadonnas teams. 8)

FUT is so ridiculously fun this year. I actually sometimes jump or pump my fist when I score. I don't know when's the last time I did that in a video game.

If you guys didnt know, you can parlay your EAS experience points into FUT extras. Go into the EAS screen, and the screen where you can buy extras, well based on your experience level, you can buy FUT multipliers : 1000 extra coins added on to your FUT total game coins earned after each game for the next 10 games. That's one, but there are others : +1000 x every 10 games , +1000 x every 5 games, +200 x every 15 games, etc......

I haven't spent any real money at all on FUT this year and have accumulated around 50K FUT coins. Only sucky part is my gold packs I buy don't have any superstar players in them. Guy at work just started and got a Ronaldo right off the bat. he sold it for something like 200K coins.

I bought this yesterday and by halftime of my first offline match I was wishing I had put in NHL 13 instead. The game was a complete snoozer to me. Either i've totally burned out my enjoyment of Fifa over the years or NHL is freaking brilliant. of course, after my one game of Fifa I played 4 games of NHL and had to force myself to go to bed at 2am.

Just the opposite for me. Since I bought Fifa, I haven't even touched NHL 13. I am loving Fifa more than ever but then again, I hadn't played it for years.

it might be just that. I've played the $hit out of Fifa and soccer games in general since the original xbox. I hadn't bought the last couple of NHL titles and i'm finding it a fresh and very engaging experience.

Ah, that explains it. I saw you guys playing online a couple of times and when I saw the old DSP Town club I saw only 3 remaining members. So we are on to a 3rd DSP club now?

For me, I've been basically playing a lot of FUT tournaments along seasons and career mode. Pro clubs is a lot of fun too.

The thing I worry about is that forensic and dogma seem to care quite a bit about the ranking of their club, so I'm wary of joining them if there are a lot of us. It's definitely hard to win when there are five or six of us and it's also a brutal strain on the Any. I don't want to ruin their club ranking or anything, so I'd hope we can somehow keep DSP Town alive so that if there are three of us around we can just jump over there and play stress-free.

Dude, no stress. We've had a couple nights where we dropped 4-5 in a row and they're fine. It's not the ranking they care about, Forensic just doesn't like to play any with a big group.

We've been playing with no any when the room is full and that is working very well. You give up a soft goal now and then, but it's worked very well and it's very rewarding when the ball is moving around fluidly.

We played with the two IU guys, MACTEP, Hogz, me and Jimmy all at once and it was a blast. Stop finding reasons not to join us. It's fun!

Heh. Please take this in the amused, jokingly-teasing spirit in which it is intended:

:!: 8O

A second, separate club that is less serious and stressful? You are concerned about disrupting the play of top players based on your perception of how seriously they take things? A place where you can just play and chill out, without affecting the play of the top guys?

Sounds like you are proposing a 'Sunday Soccer League....' Be careful, some folks don't like that sort of thing around here. :lol
