Bad choices by Cutler, terrible route running, Dez Clark should be given a test to see if he is mildly retarded. Vasher still playing corner, horrible coaching. Manley should just be kicked in the nuts repeatedly.
Possibly the worst Bears game I've witnessed in some time. I wouldn't feel too good if i were the Packers either, you get 4 INTs and you should of stomped your opponent.
Vikings are going to run away with this division if Peterson doesn't get hurt.

Cutler needs decent WRs. After having Marshall, Royal and a good TE, he's not used to bad WRs. For his bad interceptions, he still made plays that Orton and Grossman can not.
And the end of the day, it's one game. Cutler will still be the better trade. Bears need a running game and that would help.

Absolutely agree with your first point, but not your second.
The Bears $hit the bed and they were still a bad bite on that PA pass away from winning at GB.
The Vikes have the best defense, but they aren't head-and-shoulders above either of the other two contenders. It's going to be a wild year.

So he got a big contract extension after stinking it up in the playoff game last year?
if Delhomme were black, both Deion and Irvin would have no problem with his performance.
Awful Bears loss. It's just terrible to see a great defensive performance go up in smoke on one play.
The receivers obviously had problems with routes, but Cutler easily could have thrown 7-8 picks last night. Terrible, terrible decision-making on his part. I'm not panicked since its his first game with the Bears, but I'm disappointed he didn't play better.
This division will be open, too. I was impressed with the Packers defense and I think they have a better overall team than Minnesota, although the Vikings have better individual parts. Favre won't last the season.
Browns are now 1-10 in season openers since they've been back. Hard to believe, 11 years already. 11 years of "rebuilding" and spinning our wheels, and starting over, AGAIN.

I dont know if it has anything to do with black and white. Deion just has a strange world view...Last year before the NFC championship game he said if the Cardinals lost that Kurt Warner should belong in the hall of shame.
What kinda puss can't play with a jacked up wrist? Put a cast on it and strap on the helmet.
It's obviously very serious if he's not even going to try and come back. He's only had one season where's he's missed games and has played through a lot of injuries.
What an awful start to the Bears season. Urlacher's not the same player he used to be but he's still the heart of their defense.
One other thing: when I saw Orton's double-tipped pass to Brandon Stokley, the first thing I thought was, "Maybe Madden's not so unrealistic after all."

Yeah, and especially the way he didn't cross the goal line, he ran along it to kill time. I haven't seen that since Coleco's hand-held football game, where I'd sit at the one end of the screen and wait until the blips got close to me, just to kill time.

No kidding. That's almost exactly the way that I lost my OF game to the Packers.

In my offline season as SEA I had a game, which I eventually lost, sent to OT in a similar manner.
I haven't seen tips downfield like that in Madden though.
One of Delhomme's interceptions was first tipped by the LB underneath, then either by the CB or the WR and then caught shoestring by the other DB for the int.
In the game yesterday, instead of going for the ball which was high in the air, Roy Williams went to hit the intended WR, leaving nobody behind when Stokely caught the high tip.
I actually believe the Raiders will keep it close, and maybe even steal a win. Strange things happen with Oakland and San Diego.
It's easy to hope when everybody is 0-0, and it's easy to assume Oakland will suck (again) this year, but something is nagging at me, saying that this team may surprise some people and sneak closer to 8-8 than 1-15.
Definitely the Bills. Brady is going to want to show he's back, and Brees stoked the fire by setting the over at 6 TD passes. Get ready for three hours of the Dick Jauron face.
Biggest surprise of the weekend for me: KC keeping it close at Baltimore without Cassel. Has the Baltimore D slipped that much or are the Chefs not as sucktastic as expected (at least on offense)?
