Nope. I like it. Could not disagree more with the "poorly implemented" comments....ScoopBrady wrote: Does everybody else feel the controls are implemented poorly?

I think a handful of runs in a shootout mode is far too little to make a verdict either way, frankly.ScoopBrady wrote:Does everybody else feel the controls are implemented poorly?
I would say I love, just love, the slapshot and that it is now so simple, intuitive, and easy to fake that slapper, something that will always require extra button presses to pull off in the more traditional control schemes.
Still, I don't think the shootout demo will give any clue as to how well it functions in a real game, with a defender in front of you, and thus how it will affect real gameplay. Speaking of which, how is defense implemented, are there new controls there as well? Who knows how well those will work in practice, and how the two will go together to create that little thing called competitive balance?
It just seem that way, doesn't it, (better players tend to score on you though, Staal, Helmsky, etc) although I am sure that it'll change in multiplayer action.MizzouRah wrote:Ever notice if you control the goalie and just come way out and challenge the shooter, about 90% of the time they won't score on you?
