DSP Invitational

Since it seems some of us are looking for a Links 2004 tourney but have been unable to join, I setup the DSP Invitat´nl (there seems to be a limitation to the characters in the name..lol).
 
 It is invitation only. I tried to send invitations to people in the Gamertag database that I know have the game. Please don´t be offended if I missed you as it is late and I am very tired <IMG SRC="images/forum/icons/icon_cool.gif">
 
 Some of you I tried to invite are also not registered for XSN yet.
 
 BTW, I think I messed up and only set it up for 16 players but sent out 19 invites....oh well...HURRY!

Wow. This was my first trip to the XSN web site. There are a ton of stats. I´m impressed.

thanks Leebo....I played Links on Live for the first time tonight with my good friend The Deicide...... and what a blast it was....I holed an eagle from 95 yards out.....and shot even for the round..

 I did send you an invite. You were on my original list. You weren´t one of the ones that kicked back either. I´m not sure what happened.
 
 I am new to XSN, but I can no longer send invitations. Can you check your email again or try to enter the tourney? The name is DSP Invitat´nl and the password is 5361083. The first round conditions are 8ULE52A.

 I´m am not sure. Maybe one of the guys who joined can answer. Maybe it doesn´t show up because it is invitation only.
 
 I did invite you though. Never got back an error message either so I am not sure what happened.

I just checked the tourney page, it´s not showing any stats so far. I played a round last night, but it´s not giving me credit for having played.

 I noticed the lack of score posting as well. Being the auditor that I am I went in and played the round over (it let me). Unfortunately, I shot 3 strokes higher this time around but the funny thing is the web site has now recorded my original first round stats.

 By the way, did everyone settle on created player stats? I want to know if I need to create a new one (if I am over the cap, or catch up to the cap limit).

Okay, I think I´ve read enough in these last few messages to figure out where I was taking the wrong turn. My handle might be throwing some people - it has a space in it as in "J Cauthen" (now why did I go and do that - seems to defy an unspoken convention!)

I finally figured out how to find and accept the invitation, but I see the competition is full. Oh well... maybe next time - you snooze you lose <IMG SRC="images/forum/icons/icon_wink.gif">
 
 I made this a whole lot more complicated than necessary, but it was a good learning drill.

 The second round is tough. At least I thought so. The winds were crazy, the fairways narrow, the bunkers plentiful, the greens small, and the toddlers loud.
