The auction house addiction is driving me crazy. I start and end each session at the AH.

I mostly use it to sell, but I simply HAVE to browse the 'buy' lists each time I'm there to see if there are any good deals.

i love selling stuff at the AH, great way to make some good money...

I just have my hearthstone set to Ironforge (for alliance), because I know I can train, make leather stuff, auction, bank, etc all there. Sucks sometimes because it can be a couple flights back to where I want to go, but I start and end at the AH as well. Haven't bought much stuff yet (starting to save up a little money, I know the mount's gonna be damn expensive).

I dumped Cosmos today and went with CTMod, it is cleaner and updated faster and gives me everything I used in Cosmos.

Of course now the authetication servers are screwed again.

Yeah, i really like CTmod and it is updated really quick, mind you I dont wait. I just change the version of the toc files to what the patch is.

Also noticed since patch that lag has really improved in big centers for me when entering them.

Just an update, thought this was very cool. Was turning level 40 very soon yesterday and was sitting at about 40 gold, needed around 95 gold to get a mount so was in the Badlands killing some of the wildlife. Get this, one of them dropped an Epic weapon ( 1 handed sword) which i then sell for 105 Gold and ended the day sitting at 155 gold.

Bought my mount, learned it, bought plate armor with lots left over...that was sweet. Was like winning the lottery. If you ever find a purple item man...its a gold mine.

Exactly what I was thinking.
I am lvl 28 and have 4 gs....ofcourse I do spend all Gs on smithing supplies...I never thought coarse stone would be so expensive..talk about an expensive proffesion to level up in....

I've sort of stuck at lvl 18 with my main character, mostly because I've been mining for $$ like a madman in lower level areas. I've also started my first alt, a Night Elf rogue that I got to lvl 8 yesterday.

When you guys get to about level 38-40, let me know and ill show you a good place to make 5 gold per 30 mins, not well known I dont think and I have made some good loot there plus good drops.

I'm 45 Grog, where is this place you speak of? I need the gold bad. I have about 26 right now and you know how much I need for my mount.

Are you talking about that Ogre camp just north of Ironbad's excavation site? If so, I have two elite quests I have do to there. One is just to kill a bunch of ogre's, the other is from a wanted poster that says to kill the leader. I tried taking on one of them, but I couldn't seem to do much damage to it, even though I am the same level (19) as the one I tried to kill. I'd be up for trying it out in a group though, as long as we can try to take them on one at a time (as a mage, I can't take a lot of damage before dying).

I did the Ogres last night. Me (lvl 20 Priest) and 2 lvl 20 Paladins. Those ogres hit like TRUCKS.

I have to do the Elite Save the Dam mission (which involves the MoGresh ogres) and the mission to clear out Ironbad's excavation, which isn't Elite, but involves a bunch of lvl 20 monsters. At 18, I can handle one at a time, but not the numbers that are there.

I'm probably going to log on to do some mining/smithing during the Oscars, then I'll give the missions a run afterward.

PS Abner, you shame me. I've been playing weeks longer than you, and you've already leveled past me. Impressive.

The excavation site is back behind Thelsamar, on the right side of The Loch. A few good quests back there.

Ha Rob. I shame you? nah. It's sad how hooked I am. lol. I have 2 days 10 hrs logged. Its amazing what torn ligaments in your ankle will do for your PC time..

Right now I'm questing in Duskwood and in the Redridge Mts. and just picked up some stuff in thge Wetlands. Duskwood is friggin cool.

Ok, whats really nice about this location is that there is Kargath very close by ( 1 minute away and same with a grave yard) Up in the hills close to kargath is rock elementals about levle 37-40, they drop rocks, the rocks stack nicely in your loot bags ( 5's and 10's stack together) You will get on avg 2 rocks per drop and they sell very well to the innkeeper vendor in kargath. You can also kill the rock elementals very quickly which enhances productivity.

The elementals are just a little east of Kargath ( very close) and you can roam thru area in hills. To the north is level 44 elementals with same drop levels. Like i mentioned, you will be getting around 5 gold per 30-40 mins farmed. Hope this helps.

runs awesome now.

was HORRID near the auction house, now....no lag at all!

i keep finding some amazing new areas to explore...and these are close to places that i have been in before!
