They;re fun. Good mixture of healing and tanking. They don't kill things as fast as others, but with the healing and various blessings/seals they are very hard to kill also.

Of the classes I've played, Paladin is the most fun so far, but I'm really liking playing as a druid too. Didn't much like mage, and got tired of rogue after L14.
I got a level 16 paladin...

This f***in game is going to make Me get a new PC.....Im running at 25 fps....
f***in WoW......Im glad I never played one of these before...They are f***in evil....You guys all suck......and yes Ive had a few........

More system memory is your first need. Go to at least 512MB, if not 1GB>

I have a P4 2.0 Ghz, 9700 Pro 128MB, 512MB ram and I have 0 performance problems, I run 1024x768 with most options on and it looks great. Only time I have hiccups is when it is lagging due to horde raids or something. (But that means that there are around 30-40 horde raiding, and usually the same number of alliance fighting... tough to NOT lag in that case.)

I just want to chime in and say that the first weekend of the guild was a success. Always able to find people online, did a few Elite quests that had been siiting in my que for a while.

Also, a big thanks to whoever sent my Rogue (Clash) the Bracers and the Belt. I owe you one

yeah, having the guild is nice...I'm Valhalla (lvl 24 rogue) and also have a lvl 11 paladin and lvl 17 hunter I'll be using (Liselle and Javelin respectively, have to get them added).

Nice having people around for the random chats as well, even if you're not teaming that can be fun. I'll be up for Gnomeregan soon, i've got 3 quests there, as well as 2 Blackfathom Deeps ones, but I'm not quite ready for those at 24 I think

Geez, I have like 6 Gnomeregan quests. I'd put aside time for that maybe later this week. Wed or Thurs night?

Yes, also enjoying the guild.

Real life and a cold conspired against my getting online even briefly this weekend. :x I'm definitely going to fire it up this week, though. How do I go about joining the guild? Do I need an invite from somebody? If so, I'm Kharsis, Lvl 15 paladin.

Yep, a guild member needs to be online at the same time and shoot you an invite. Done deal, if I see you. :) I'll be on about 10:30, 11pm est on...

Actually stopped invites from just any guild member...too many people were getting in without an introduction, or who they were, etc. The idea was to have a group where we knew each other, not have 20 guys who nobody has any idea of who they are.

Either way, if I'm on (more than likely I will be) just send me a tell and I'll hook you up...give everybody an introduction of your forum posting name, etc.

If we get around to inviting "other" people within the game, then we'll probably go the full 100% nerd route and assign a council or something to discuss invitations/promotions/etc. If we're going to be a "real" guild, we might as well set it up as such in advance.

I'll be on as Ghost, Lancelot, Predator, or Werewolf. More than likely Ghost/Lancelot.

Terry, are you going to set up a guild sticky at OS? It'd be a place to introduce everyone, and a good place to make and take requests.

I'm probably one of the higher lvl engineers, for example, so I could take gun and scope requests, etc, there... and other professions could do likewise.

Anyone else see a gathering like this somewhere down the line?

I keed, I keed. I'm just jealous because I'd love to play this game but I won't let myself.

Probably not...I'm not on staff anymore at OS (they're shifting everything up this week, and I'm opting to move on at this point), so if anything, we could post one here, but this is a Sports Gaming site.

I was thinking of just setting up an EZboard account or something silly...just something to have as a main WoW gathering location for the guild. We have everything else rolling, might as well.

I think the ezboard or whatever would be a good idea...just help each other out, mail linen to tailors, post what stuff you want people to keep an eye out for, etc...

I'm sure that if we ask Jared nice, and promise not to begin posting Night Elf pr0n, he might be willing to indulge us in this regard.

After caving in and getting WoW, I now have a lvl 15 Dwarf Priest on the Eonar server. Anyone else on that server by chance?

Anyone else having authentication problems tonight? I see that some servers are down, and I can only assume that this is related.

Abner, get over to Windrunner!

On the bright side I got to play 4 games of WE8...Only scored 3 goals...Ive gotten suckier with the layoff.

Didn't even try to logon last night.

Seems they must have had a very bad "regular maintenance" day. It's supposed to happen in the mornings, Pacific time.

I finally got on...it took 3 hours.
Blizzard was doing emergency repair to 6 of the servers and somehow it affected all of them or the authentication server...I dont know which but the people on the WoW forums were pretty pissed...They kept me entertained.
