anyone watch Premier League Fanzone on FSW

Post by fsquid »

Must be the most hilarious thing I've watched in some time. They take a supporter from each team playing in the match and they basically just make fun of one another the whole game. I don't get some of the jokes, but my wife was on the floor last night when we watched it.

Yes, I've seen it a handful of times.

First time I saw it, I tuned in about 15 minutes into the match and had no idea it was a "show". I just thought it was more "local" announcers and thought it was hilarious ... kind of like football with a more local flavor. I thought it was really interesting.

Now that I know what it is, I'm a little impressed just because I know it's more of an intentional gimmick. Nonetheless, it's still pretty entertaining.

Absolutely love it. If they're funny enough, I sometimes watch a match that I have no other real interested in.

Guess I'm in the minority: I can't stand it. The mindless banter of the two fans distracts me from the game.

I get enough good, fun partisanship from Nick and Steven on "Fox Football Friday."

Take care,

Never really bothered me because I always seem to catch it later in the week, long after the results are known in many cases. It would be annoying if I were relying on the broadcast to cover a game I cared about and didn't know the result.

to me, it's like stand up comedy: when it's on, it's roll on the floor funny. when it's not, it's awkward, uncomfortable and not fun to watch.

too often for me, it's the latter.
