Am I A Fool?

Guys,
 
 I own both NFL2K3 and Madden, and have decided to sell Madden. I only own an Xbox, so obviously 2K3 is my only online option. I also just don´t find Madden to give me the fun factor that 2K3 gives me. Finances are tight, family to take care of, and I don´t think indulging by keeping 2 football games is very smart. Maybe I´m getting smart at the ripe old age of 34. I want to put that money towards the purchase of NBA2K3. I still feel like a dope for 1) not thinking about this before purchasing 2 football games and 2) feel like I´m getting rid of a friend that I´ve had a lot of fun with for years.

 You´re not a fool at all. I never own more than one football title per year, and I kept NFL 2K3 for the Xbox this year for the same reasons you mentioned.

 Thanks so much for the reply. I appreciate it. I can´t wait until you and others are online so we can get to playing one another. It will really be a lot of fun. The voice communicator works very well for me, and I´m sure the dialogue between us will just enhance the whole experience. <IMG SRC="images/forum/icons/icon_biggrin.gif">

 You´re anything but a fool. I know several people who have already done the same thing you have. And it´s not just limited to X-Box owners. PS2 have been making the committment to one game too.
 
 I´m not one of them, but I haven´t spent enough time with 2k3 to really form an opinion on it. I don´t even own the game but I know that I´ve spent an awful lot of time playing NCAA 2003 again lately.
 
 With Pro Race Driver and Colin McRae 3.0 and GTA Vice City due out for the PS2 soon, Madden and some other games may be sold back anyway.

I at one time had 3 football games, nfl2k3/ncaa2003/madden2003. I got rid of ncaa since it was too similar to madden, felt like I had the same game but with nfl/college teams.
 
 I wish I had ncaa2003 back now. It is probably the funnest game out of the 3 and I do like it´s dynasty aspects over madden´s franchise mode.
 
 I do enjoy nfl2k3 because of the challange and madden because of depth(even though I can win on madden a high percentage of times after owning it after 2 weeks, like every year).
 
 So whatever you enjoy, keep. Like OB1 said...´insert OB1 Star WArs fool quote here´.
