I emailed the Washington owner 2 days ago and still haven't heard anything from him.

I hope he doesn't plan on waiting until the day before the deadline to respond.

Spooky157, I think I play you this week. I can play any night after 10PM EST with voice (except tonight) or earlier without. My weekend is pretty open given the Steelers bye.

PM me if you get the chance or post here. I'm still not in the habit of checking the league board since this is just my second game. Thanks!

Hey Leebo - I should be able to play tomorrow night after 11 EST. I think you're on my friends list so look for me around then. I'm moving tomorrow so I might be a little late. If not tomorrow, Sunday night works too.

Not sure what happened, but apparently your connection went south because the game gave me the win and you the loss, but the score shows you winning 34-14. Not sure how Bill is going to handle it, but you clearly beat me and you deserve the win. I guess he can go in and change the results. I did want to finish the game, though.

Anyway, Bill we got disconnected just at the start of the 4th quarter and laurenskye was about to kick and extra point. The score is correct, but in the standings it shows me at 9-2 and him at 8-3. I don't mind if you leave the score and stats alone, but can you change the standings so he gets the win or do we have to play it over? I don't think I want to endure that asswhipping again.

I don't know what the hell happened. Maybe my daughter hopped on the CPU and started downloading. Anyway, sorry about that, I would have liked to finish also, looks like Bill was able to switch the win around though.

Spooky, I will be on at 11EST tonight. I usually crash on Fridays after a week of staying up too late and waking up early, so if you are too late we will have to try again on Sunday.

Hey Leebo - sorry about friday night. something was up with my DSL/Xbox hookup. Would you be up for playing at 9 or 9:30?

Sorry about the short notice. If we don't make it tonight can we shoot for Tuesday night?

EDIT: I apologize once again Leebo but my connection is failing me. I'll have to hit Radio Shack tomorrow and get this remedied. I can play on my other television but only after 11 PM.

But Wednesday night (forgot I had band practice Tuesday night) should be all good, anytime you're available after 8 PM. Let me know.

Wednesday night is best for me. I am an early 6AM riser so I would prefer 8PM without voice (need to go wireless with a toddler loose) or 10PM with voice. It doesn't matter to me.

Yeah, that was a fun game. Wish I could've offered more of a challenge, but it was a blast nonetheless. Playing sober works for you... maybe I should start playing drunk?

You would use different strategies like running the ball on 3rd and 15 or playing a dime defense on 2nd and 2.....

When is the deadline for this week? I was scheduled to play the Washington owner last night at 10pm EST, he emails me at 10:01pm telling me he won't make it. I'm pretty busy the next couple days, and probably can't play again until Friday.

Does the controlling DE cheat thingy work if you don't charge up their move? I only ask because I do like controlling the DE from time to time, and last night when I played kingopain, I made sure not to charge up the DE, but I still managed a couple sacks that seemed a little, well, unblocked. I don't want to be a cheeser.

A lot of it has to do with what blocking scheme the offense calls. Occasionally I use the DE and if they pull or go left or right with the line, you really have an advantage. My gripe is when people use the DT's...I can deal with the DE's since I can just run one way or another, or use my RB to hit them. When guys use the DT's, you have no chance because you can't run quick enough...they get through too quick.

The game is just flawed..and its just not the DB AI...It predetermines alot of sacks the way ESPN college hops makes you miss open layups and dunks....

I got a crap load of sacks vs Ubrakto and didt control a Dlineman or shift the Dline on any one play the whole game....

I have learned to control My lb so I havent used the Dline in about 5-6 games......cause I dont wanna be a cheeser either...asshole I have no problem being.

I still love the game ...but only against you guys...the single player is in the trash can...

Yeah, it was your DTs that dominated against me, Slumberland. I can see a LB or DE coming in untouched, but it freakin' drives me crazy in this game on or offline when my offensive line refuses to even TOUCH a 300 pound DT.
