Quick Franchise question concerning Madden 2005?

Is there any way to adjust the CPU's SUB IN/OUT settings in franchise mode?
I know how to adjust mine, but cannot figure out how to adjust the computers..

You can do it two ways.

One controller -
After the coin toss, pause the game and then switch controllers. Make your sub in and sub out changes and then run the kickoff. During the kickoff play pause the game and switch back controls. You can do this after the kickoff but you'll lose one play as you'll be the other team.

Two controllers - Have the second controller control the CPU team. Go throw the coin toss and then pause the game with the CPU controller. Make your changes then run the kickoff. After or during the kickoff don't forget to switch the CPU controller to default.

Both methods will work, however you'll lose the madden challange feature I believe with both methods.

I know how to switch teams (with one controller) in a game. My problem seems to be that when I switch to the CPU's team and click on their game setting to adjust the Sub IN/OUT, I only see what I have preset as my profile settings. The adjustments I make to the SUB IN/OUT setting seem to only affect my profile when I am using one controller in the game. So, when I switch back to my user controlled team, I take my profile with me and the CPU stays at it's default sub IN/OUT setting..

I have not tried the two controller method. I will give that a go the next tiime I fire up the game.. Thanks for your help. I appreciate it.
