No thats bullshit. Another 3 days ain't hurt, as there are a lot of games still to be played for the week. Plus with the holidays here, I have no problem extending the deadline to Friday night if we have to. The deadline was the day before Turkey Day so I'm cool with waiting a bit.TrojanMan wrote:Re: Az v. Det
The idiots at Verizon 'accidentally deactivated' my account. For some ridiculous reason, my service won't be on for at least another 3 business days. We were supposed to play this game last night. But, due to the aforementioned calamity, we couldn't. So, if we're up against the deadline, the win should go to the Lions. Dammit!!!!

I can personally vouch for XXXIV. I've played him in football and my son has played him in basketball. Both games were great and the guy is one of the most personable guys I've ever had the pleasure to play with on Xbox Live. Almost makes me wish the fu*ker was sitting beside me on the couch.bkrich83 wrote:Great game 34. You completely handled my offense. I couldn't get anything going. Despite getting my ass kicked that was one of the most enjoyable games I have played.

Great game.
Tight duel that went to the final minutes
The game wasnt over til that last incomplete pass.
I punted as many times as you did and I think the yds were even.

The skins owner is a f-ing cheeser.
Squib kicks, flea flickers you name it this guy pulled it. And for the record I quit in overtime when he manually moved the DL 3 times in a row to use the speed cheat to sack me. Something which is clearly against the rules.
I decided I am not going to get pissed off and just f***in quit on these dick heads from now on.

Danimal, you must have the worst luck when it comes to your opponents...Danimal wrote:The skins owner is a f-ing cheeser.

It is 13-10 me with 34 seconds to go in the 3rd quarter. He just kicked a field goal.
Squib kick, bounces off my player he recovers.
Flea Flicker TD 17 - 13 him
He Squib kicks again.
I score on a 7 play drive 20-17
He runs once and then Flea Flicker another TD. 24-20
He squib kicks again.
I throw an INT. (Oh yeah the manual moving of the DT and rushing him is in full effect.)
We go back and forth for a few series. I put a 2 minute drill together and score with little time left. 27-20
I kick it off. He runs another Flea Flicker, then a pass across the middle. Kicks a FG to tie it with 1 second left.
I win flip, he squib kicks again. I try to pass, Speed rush sack.
I try to run to counter the speed rush, the DT hits my rb as he takes the handoff (more manual moving DT)
I am sacked again, on another manully moved DT rush.
So what do we have 3 or 4 flea flickers, which I can't cover because my DB's are rated so low that even when in a 3 deep zone the bite on the run fake. Speed rushing, and the new short kick to try and make a non-hands guy fumble (worked twice for him if I recall) No mic on his end.
If I had not quit at that point let me fill in the rest for you.
Wash Flea Flicker Game over, sorry I am not giving him the satisfaction. To think with all I have going on I went out of my way to play this game this week.
I play in 2 other leagues and have no problems. So call me a complainer, or whatever the f*** you want. I am not going to say another word anymore. If someone cheats, I will just quit the game. It is that simple. Fortunately I see mostly DSP guys coming up on my schedule. For example I look forward to playing BKRich, he will probably kick my ass, but it will be legit.

I don't blame you at all, I would have quit too. I would have quit after the 3rd fea flicker. Anyone that runs a trick play more than twice a game is cheesing his ass off. And everyone knows the whole purpose of the flea flicker is to get your DBs to bite like hell and that play is just too effective in this game.Danimal wrote:Let me throw you the highlights and you tell me if you would be pissed off.Sully wrote:Danimal, you must have the worst luck when it comes to your opponents...Danimal wrote:The skins owner is a f-ing cheeser.

Oh and Bill, still nothing out of the Bengals guys. Did he take the team or decide not to? I feel like I've been trying to get this game in for 2 weeks.

Just a reminder that this week will finally roll over Monday morning.
4 games remain on the schedule. BG, the new Cincy guy is having trouble logging into the website. I'm prolly going to just have to give you the W, but if this guy can't join I have others in line.
Sully, did you email the new Rams guy? I saw you left a message but I'd email him too.
I have not heard anything from scasmflop or Fsquid.
Detriot and Arizona should be able to play Sunday night.

I've talked to him Bill. He's working this weekend and wants to play the game at 1230 am EST, which may be a little too late for me. I told him if I'm around, I'll play it.Bill_Abner wrote:Just a reminder that this week will finally roll over Monday morning.

I tried to catch up with him today before he went to work, but he didn't answer my IM's.
Well, it's Sunday night. My DSL service has been back since last week. I e-mailed the Lions' owner to tell him as much and try to arrange a game time. Given the long weekend, I figured we'd be able to get it in. I haven't received any response. It's now Sunday evening, and I'm in the dashboard on the off chance that he might show up. But, the 15-minute rule is in effect.
Yeah, I've noticed that the Rams owner hasn't been on AIM much the past couple of days. He told me the only time he could play would be between 1230 and 130 am Fri. and Sat. night. That's not going to cut it for me. I'm up at 630am every morning with my son.TrojanMan wrote:Well, it's Sunday night. My DSL service has been back since last week. I was hoping to schedule during the day, just couldn't get a hold of him. I'd hate to lose my perfect record on a coin flip, but if that's what it has to be, then so be it. At least I know next week's game with XXXIV will be easier to schedule, we've already contacted each other.

That's weird man. I got 2 emails from the Lions owner, saying he was waiting for you. "I got an email from Kevin that his DSL is back on, but we have not been able to set up a time to play. I sent him an email this morning to see if we could get the game in today, but he hasn't been around."TrojanMan wrote:Well, it's Sunday night. My DSL service has been back since last week. Sounds like a wires crossed thing to me. I got that email last night at 10PM.
Anwyay, I had to go ahead and move the week ahead. This was the league week from hell. I think you and I play each other this week Trojan; what is good for you? I'm usually free weeknights around 10:30 PM ET.
