ESPN College Hoops Impressions....

I just picked this game up yesterday based on the impressions in this thread, and I'm really enjoying it so far. I bought ESPN NBA last week, and just couldn't get into it. Something about it seemed very sluggish to me, almost as if the game was too animation heavy, and it took away from the control. However, based on one night of play, I think CH 2K5 may be the most fun basketball game I have ever played. I'm amazed at how different the feel is from ESPN NBA.

Just wait until you get started on your legacy. I haven't started mine yet, but last year I couldn't wait until I finished a scheduled game to see if I got an e-mail from recruit expressing his interest. Also, it was pretty cool to see someone who may have been on the fence about your program start showing a little bit more interest.....especially if it was from a 3 star player. Keep in mind the players on your team will not hesitate to transfer if they're not getting enough playing time.javi wrote:Wow, the rosters just add another level of fun to this game. It really has me hook. I'm still debating on what team to start a Legacy though....
Wish I could say that. I am getting the deep freeze in legacy mode. I am an offline sports gamer and love Sega's sports games, they just don't love me back. Single games no problem. Legacy and dynasty modes... kaput!Parker wrote:You'll be happy then because recruiting has been improved more this year. No glaring bugs in the legacy mode like there seem to be with the dynasty modes in the other ESPN games.
I have a new X-Box with a Samsung dvd. Oh well. EA games when I play dynasty. Sega ,when the boys come over for some gaming.
