Well I played two games tonight and both games were dominated by guys using UNC and Duke and just driving inside every time.

The guy that used UNC shot 78% and scored all but 8 of his points in the paint. I'm just not going to play that kind of game, but if you don't swap basket for basket with them, you'll get down in a hurry. The guy never took a 3 pointer nor did he take a shot with anyone but MCCants and #2, whoever he was. I hope this isn't the way online play is going to be.

The second game was a little different, the guy did at least take a few outside shots, but he went into the settings at the beginning of the game and made like 5 minutes worth of changes. I almost quit while waiting for him. Then he changes the pressure to tight on every one of my guys and then sets to always double team all my guys so I knew this wasn't going to be fun. I jumped out on him and led most of the game because his constant doubleteaming was leaving people open. Then he figured out I couldn't shoot free throws and started fouling me everytime I took a shot. I think I was something like 3-21 on free throws and that's where I lost the game.

I just thought (or hoped) that people would be more imaginitive online, but who am I fooling? People are going to do whatever it takes to get the W. So two games, two losses to two guys without headsets that used cheap tactics to win...big surprise, huh?

I'm so looking forward to our league and I hope we don't get many non DSPers as they have pretty much been proven to cheese. Anyone that wants to play a straight game with someone that actually takes outside shots, shoot me a invite. I suck, but I do play straight.

I'll play anytime. I can't use voice until after 10 on most nights though. I only play people on my friends list. It's probably been over a year since I played a random game in any genre except racing. Last night I played osmarino13 and Hipstersudz.

I'll be online this evening after the Kansas/Vermont game. I love playing with my Jayhawks as I know their game pretty much in and out. But I like to play fair online. Therefore, if you choose a team with say a 80 rating, I'll look for one right around 80 as well.

I'll look for you tonight Leebo. I understand about not being able to access the headset until a certain time. My kids sleep a couple rooms down from where I game. For me, it doesn't make sense to invest in surround sound as I usually have it on the lowest volume setting as I'm paranoid I'm going to wake them.
