Wow thanks for the input. Well, if all we get are people like you, that sign up for a league and quit, then you're right. It'll fail. If it does, no biggie. The football league is moving into week 5 with 32 owners in place. There would be 6 "weeks" in a full 64 team tourney.

With the release of ESPN College Hoops pening, I just wanted everyone to know that we're still going to run the tourney. However, before we launch into a full 64 team marathon, I think its best to run a "DSP Only" (with a few exceptions of people I know personally) 32 team tourney to see how smooth it goes.

So I checked my excel sheet and I habe the following teams locked in:

Uhh...the game might need to be released first, then he can probably make that determination.

Heh I have no idea. The 32 teamer prolly wont START until Nov 30th or so, for 3 reasons:

-I want Jared to play
-I want everyone to have ample time to get the game
-I want everyone to have tine to PLAY it beforehand and I dunno if we can use sliders like you can in NHL2K5. Starting the tourney a couple of days after release isn't very practical IMO.

So there's no huge rush.

Plus, we still need to decide if the game is worth playing. We should never assume, especially after the NCAA 2005 debacle. If the game is ass, I won't waste the time in setting it up.

Oh, and Dan you can have Uconn.

Thanks for taking me into consideration Bill. Though if everyone is clamoring to start the tourney earlier, feel free to replace me.

It'll be interesting to see if they have Florida's propensity to choke early in the tourney programmed into the game.
