NEW DSP NHL2k5 LEAGUE INFO HERE

Post by mobiggins »

Okay, fellas. Here's the rundown.

League name: nhl2k52
Password: dsp

Teams:
mobiggins --DAL
Grogthenailer -- EDM
LQFleury --- CAL
hipstersudz -- VAN
Dbdynsty -- PHO
JamesE -- OTT
vader29 -- PIT
FutureStar -- COL
laurenskye -- TOR
dsnyder -- MIN
webdanzer -- NJ
JackB1 -- FLA
clients -- TB
XXXIV -- MTL

This is perfect, because we can have a 26 game season where everyone will play everyone else. The settings are based on Grog's old settings. Some may find the pace a bit slow at first, but trust me, you will get used to it, and it will be cool.

8 team playoffs, 5 game series.

From the feedback I've gotten, we should make it a priority to meet up in the lobby Tuesdays and Wednesdays, but again, you are free to schedule things on your own. It would be cool if we could ALL meet up on one night, play, then flip the schedule to make the league move faster. I stuck with 26 games because I think we have a good group who are committed and are in it for the long haul. Plus nobody really complained about the length of the season in the first place.
Let's get this league up and going so we can start playing tomorrow night!

ps. I wish I could divide the league into divisions, because we'd have 7 eastern and 7 western teams. Ah, well....

I made one little mistake. I hadn't downloaded the roster update before creating the league. Will this affect our league, or is it something that everyone gets downloaded to their machine on their own terms?

If anybody knows the answer to this, please let me know. I can redo the league. I was under the impression that the roster update was automatic, but I guess not.
Thanks.

Crap, I guess I can't check it till the schedule has been created. I'm pretty sure that an official update has been put out...any leagues created after that point will have the updated rosters.

That's what we did with the football league. PM Bill and find out if he had to do anything special to get the updated rosters...I'm pretty sure he didn't. It just uses the most current ONLINE rosters, which are the updated ones when you log in online.

For some reason Mo...I picture you with the same body of that purple hippo. Mind you, I also picture you slapping my @ss as well but nothing ever works out for me.

haha. no, I'm a bit more slender than that.
but I can see how a big fat purple hippo slappin some ass could easily take on himself the mental image of somebody telling people what to do.
hey, I've gotta get this league up and going. gotta pull the reins tight.
