Attention DSP NHL 2k5-ers! New league info.
Please check your PM's on the LEAGUE WEBSITE, not on here.
I've PM-med everyone that in my judgement should be given a fair shake at a new league. Now I can't go back and research who emailed whom, and who tried to honestly set games up, but seeing as how there were only three people who actually played all the first six games, I was pretty lenient. If you didn't get a PM and feel like I was wrong in my assessment of your desire to play, please let me know and state your case.
If you were pm-med, please don't get offended at my message; I sent the same message to everyone, cut and paste. I know some of you have played the majority of your games.
If you got a message, please heed my request that you consider your schedule and desire to continue. If you can't do it, don't. It sucks to have a deadweight in the league.
Either way, please PM me on the league page with:
1. Your top three teams of choice, if you want to change teams.
2. The night that you're able to play most often.
3. Any and all settings recommendations that you may have.
If you want the same team you have now, you will get it. If you don't, give me your top three.
Please PM me with this info by 3pmEST Sunday.
I will form the league then.
I also encourage you to form a greater sense of a league by setting up your games and communicating with your opponent for the week on the league website, and not on here.
Thanks, and I hope we can get a good league going this time.

sorry slumber.
the league only allows for even-number of players, and right now we have 14. I don't want to waste more time by looking for another player, and then risk introducing more commitment issues by opening up the league to more players who weren't in on it in the first place.
nothing against you personally, bro.
You'll be first in line as an alternate, however.

Actually, db, we only had three or four guys who played all their games last time, so it could only go up from there.
Like I said, it would take an exhausting amount of time to figure out who contacted whom and who didn't contact whom. JackB1, for instance only played 2 games, but he was all over those scheduling boards trying to get games in.
I dunno what the circumstances of everyone not being able to play their games were, but I had no problems and neither did FutureStar, dsnyder, or LQFleury. I think those were the members who got all their games in. I could be wrong, it could be three, not four. Anyway...
The league is actually cut down by 12 members. It will work out this time.
