Don't turn the DSP/Blog league thread into a Dan/DB flame war. Take it outside.

Yeah, but he uses his wife as an excuse and then starts a thread about playing Halo 2 tonight...he's a walking contradiction.

If you're sick of getting your ass handed to you, fine, quit. But don't make up some bullsh*t excuse about needing to be with your wife and then start threads about having enough time to play other games.

That's what bothers me even more.

It's not about a 'flame', it's about quitting something you've committed to.

I hate quitters, regardless of why. And no, I'm not kidding about that.
I can understand that.

I will tell you what. My friend here at work just said I could borrow his ESPN game for a while if I lend him my X-men game (focker). So if Bill didn't fill the spot I will take him up on it and get the game from him tomorrow and try and replay my game with 34.

So Bill did you fill it?

I am just commenting on this last thing and that is it, I said I will finish playing if Bill has not found a replacement yet.

But you are twisting my words. I never said I was quitting because my wife was pregnant, I knew it would run through it and frankly I can find the time to play. Lets review the facts

- I quit because it a fit of frustartion I broke my disk. It really happened and I am willing to tell you it isn't the first time I have broke a game CD / DVD.

- You didn't belive me, which I ignored.

- Sudz also commented and I said that if I in fact needed an excuse (which I didin't) to quit don't you think it would have been a better one to say I need to help my pregnant wife then I broke my disk. I was simply pointint out I had a far better "excuse" and that in fact I did brweak my disk.

- Then you started your multiple rants.

Anyone can re-read this thread and see what I am saying is accurate and the crap you jst spewed in this post is totla BS. Maybe you became confused or something, but I never used my wife's pregnancy as an excuse.

End of subject from me Jared, I just can't stand people making up crap.

WTF!

I was up 7 with under 5 to play. To add to that I had my first ever punt return for a TD.

:P

Seriously......
I am up for the replay ...Id be pissed too if the game cut out on me as I was about to mount my gamie tying drive in a very close intense game...........

..................but for Gods sake somebody kill that freaking lag...It was the worst Ive ever seen.

34 I won't have my friends copy until tomorrow. I also don't know if Bill filled the spot or not. I don't want to put him in an awkward position since I did quit last night on the spur of the moment (I was pissed what can I say). I mean if he already asked someone then they should get the spot.

Excellent game, Badgun. After all that election nonsense, it's good to get back to games and remember how gracious DSP'ers are, generally speaking.

You too, my friend. I was sure you were going to score on that last drive and you probably would have if you had any timeouts. You played a great game, especially considering that you just got in the league and were not familiar with the Broncos and their playbook. Good luck the rest of the season!

Is the Baltimore owner around? I'd like to try to get this game in before the D/L.

Bill,

Have you had any communication with the Raiders owner? I emailed him several days ago, and followed up with a pm. Hearing nothing, I've just put up a message board post at the league page. Frustrating.
