Well, I'm pretty sure that had to cost him at least $10 more.
I'd keep the $10+ and just pick it up at lunch or after work.... :D

I just called my local GameStop and they said as long as I go by their store today to preorder, I'll get my copy tomorrow. It just amazes me how long they were pushing people to preorder (I'm talking at least a few months at a couple different gaming stores here in St. Louis), and I can wait until the day of to preorder.

Well, work just made up my mind for me. They want me to come in at 8:30 instead of 10:00 so I'll stop and get it on my way home tomorrow.

I just searched Gamestop and it says that they have 4+ copies at the stores in my area...I wonder if they are selling them. Might have to stop by on the way home.

They have had them for over a week, just can't sell em yet. Don't know how late you work but they can't sell them until Midnight (or face the wrath of getting fired and having the store fined). I would call first and see if they got more then were preordered.

Although I did plan on picking up Halo 2 eventually, I was not going to fight the initial crowds and long lines. I was content to wait until whenever the “next” shipments were sent out to various stores.

Well, as it turns out, I get the automated phone call from Gamestop that my Halo 2 reserved order may be picked up tonight at midnight. Huh?

I gave a quick call to Gamestop and sure enough I had reserved it with a down payment. It must have been so long ago that my senile brain just couldn’t remember that far back.

Oh well, I guess it’s off to the mall tonight and I don’t even care as much as some people apparently do. :D

Yeah, I called em up and they couldn't sell it till midnight. Screw that...I'll go tomorrow. Thanks DSPal.

No prob DB just did not want you to have to waste a trip. I got sucked into playing it tonight, can't resist the Halo I guess. Roomate is picking it up at midnight then we will play single player for an hour or so till everyone gets back with their copies and then it is multiplayer for the rest of the night with firends.

Everytime I think I am out of gaming I get sucked right back in. Guess I will get CB2K5 afterall. Willpower is something I lack.
