The Detroit owner and I just cannot get on the same page. He can only play before 7pm PST...and I don't get home until 6 or 6:30pm PST so that won't work.

I sent dude an email last week stating that I was going to be out of town this past weekend and then I get an email back from him on Sunday saying he's ready to play, WTF? Anyway...I don't know what you can do about this Bill, but he hasn't responded at all to my emails since.

It's working fine for me right now too Bill, do you have it setup for autologin? If you do, you might want to delete your username@espnvideogames[1].txt and username@xserver.espnvideogames[2].txt cookies. That should reset your login.

Your offense surprised me early on, but struggled to do anything afterwards.

Good game, and good luck to you.

Still haven't heard from Detroit. Can you try to get ahold of him Bill? Times runnin' out and I don't want to chance a coin flip.

You know I realize I am not good at ESPN, I also realise that I possibly have the worst rated team in the league. I don't mind losing, but if you're kicking the ever living $hit out of someone, is it really necessary to watch every replay of every good play you make?

I mean if you are up 38-0 and then get a safety with under 2 minutes left, do you need to watch that replay?

Also when did it become ok to kick that punt at an angle which is impossible to return. 3rd week in a row that I have not had one chance to return a punt. In fact I couldn't even tell you if my PR guy is any good. Does everyone use this trick and am I the only one who actually punts to the return guy?

EDIT - I want to make it perfectly clear that my opponent this week played as STRAIGHT UP a game as could be I just got frustrated watching replays. But I can't stand watching them ever, so that is more of my problem. Also I wasn't singleing him out on the punting since every opponent has done it, just curious why people find that a realistic option.

Great game Trojan. Cards make it tough to win with.

I have to say, I have played pretty much nothing but DSP guys, and this has been one of the most enjoyable online experiences I have ever had. Just goes to show how fun these games can be, when you play quality opponents.

Trojan is yet another example of how fun playing DSP guys really is.

I never punt to the returner...if I can help it. Field position, especially in 5min. quarter games, is essential. How many times did Deion get to return punts when he was in his prime? It's too easy to get positive yards returning punts if you kick it to the returner...your gunners aren't fast enough off the line of scrimmage so you get screwed.

Danimal, I think I played you in week 1. The only time I ever angle a punt is when I'm trying to put it out of bounds inside the 20.
Other than that, I give my opponent a chance to return it.

Hence why I said 3 weeks in a row. Sully, you played how I play which is basically football. I have no complaints from playing you.

I have no complaints from playing LS tonight, he kicked the crap out of me, but it was straight up all the way. I was just asking on the punts if others did it because I was curious.

I punt away to the returners. Only time I really angle it is when I am going for a coffin corner type kick.

BK,

Thanks, man. I think I enjoyed the conversation more than the game. I guess you have to look for some saving graces when you're playing with the Cards, especially when you're facing the greatness that is Matt Stewart.

Good luck the rest of the way.

Hmm..not sure how to take this.

I usually skip replays but some people get pissed if you do. If it made you upset why didn't you skip them? If you had a headset you could have explained.

Almost evewry game I have played people kick towards the side line. It just makes sense, I wouldn't call it a "trick".

oh well...

I never kick to the returner if I can help it. There are ways to counter this, though.

FWIW, I tend to watch few replays. Unless something really fun to watch (ie, unusual) happens or unless I really, really need to identify where something went wrong, I don't see the need for it.

Then again, I have no problem if someone wants to watch many replays. They're in the game for a reason, and if someone enjoys them, good for him.

That said, I wouldn't do it if I were leading by a significan margin, and I wouldn't take kindly to someone who did.
