Tiger Woods 2004 (Xbox): What am I missing?

Post by pk500 »

Boys:

I rented Tiger Woods 2004 for the Xbox last night and played through the challenges to get my tour card and played a couple of rounds.

Very fun game. Solid all around. But other than the new, very cool Create Player mode, and more pros and more courses added to the game, what else is new? The whole time I played last night, I thought, "Man, this feels, looks and plays just like last year´s game."

What am I missing? What gameplay wrinkles have been added, if any?

I´m not complaining, as I think this is a fun game. If it wasn´t for Links and XBL, I might look to pick up Tiger. But the play on the course doesn´t feel any different to Tiger 2003.

Take care,

That´s why you gotta go with the PC version man. The console versions of ANY golf game can be fun, but they definitely never resemble ´real golf´ as well as a PC can.

I know that doesn´t really answer your question but I´ve given up on buying console games after Mario Golf (it´s for my girl, she hates PC golf).

I agree, the PC version is a blast and beautiful to boot.

I have a new PC and its runs great on it.

Now I can´t wait for CM 03/04 and Pro Evo 3.

PC gaming isn´t an option for me. Not too many current or recent games run well on this P3 400 MhZ business laptop with a crappy video driver.

I don´t own the machine, so I´m sure as hell not putting any money into it for upgrades.
