Glad you enjoyed the city. In a few weeks we will be renaming it Roethlisburgh.
BasketballJones,

I had a great time while I was there. Took a professional development class there for work and had the chance to see what a great town you guys have over there. I'm actually looking forward to going back in Nov. Lemme know if there are any "must things" to do when I get back.

Thanks,

Toper

Played Live again last night and had alot of fun. Its a great game...I just wish it had the offensive plays ESPN has. Is there a button in Live to call for a pick? I know the quick button to call for a pick and roll but i like the ESPN left click to call for a pick. Bottom line, I'm really liking both games right now.

is it me or do the players seem to stand around a lot more in ESPN than Live? If you don't click one of the quick plays, they basically just stand around.

Also, I really don't think ESPN's graphics are that much better than Live's. Not enough to make a decision because of it. The biggest issues to me are the lack of anything to do on defense in ESPN and the "skating" issues in Live. Still torn between both games.

one more thing, are you guys getting enough fouls in ESPN with the sliders cranked? I get enough fouls called on me, but dont get many
called in the CPU. I only go to the line about 2-5 times a game.

ESPN, baby! I must say that in my opinion this game plays like an nba game. Sure it has its glitches etc... but I have not played a better basketball game to date.

Ok, now I'm just frustrated with both games.

Can't handle the no fastbreaks, spacing in Live.
Can't handle the clunky control,30 jump hooks a game of ESPN.

I'm taking a week off both games ans start fresh... :x

The jump hook problem goes away when you hold the right trigger down and push towards the basket with your shot. Shaq went from taking ten fade away lay up attempts to throwing it down around the hoop.

I really love 2K5, which is a stunning development considering how much I loathed 2K4. I was interested in getting Live, but I haven't felt the need to do so.

It's too bad that everyone is split on the games, though, as a DSP 2K5 league would be nice.

I agree...Live just doesn't match up well with ESPN. And I for one would love an online league. Hell we could probably just get like 10 or so guys to play and it would still be sweet.

Can we also just do a 10 team tournament instead of the whole league thing? You guys know anything about the online tourneys for NBA 2K5?
